Copenhagen invites you to adventourous and exciting environments to explore at night. We will take you on a tour that stretches from the Ny Carlsberg glyptotek to Nyhavn. Creative for both the photographer and for the visitor who wants to see Copenhagen from another angle. We walk through dark alleys and bridges to find the perfect places and subjects, depending on the season. The tour goes partly by the waterfront where we teach you the basics of night photography as aperture, shutter and iso. We create light effects with flashlights and LED lights, but also how to use your equipment in the best way. I recently went in the 3 hour evening tour with Benny in CPH. He was prompt in meeting me and had a plan for our initial shots. I felt comfortable in discussing what we were looking at to shoot. Benny was very flexible, and this allowed me to also shoot what I found interesting, while still asking for instruction where I needed it. As an example, over exposing at times in camera to see what detail would be captured or under exposing in multiple exposures to show accurate light color. I did not feel rushed at any time and again this is due to Bennys flexibility and calm nature. All in all, a very productive evening with an enjoyable guide.

Although I know Copenhagen quite well, the Hidden Gems tour took me to places I wasn't aware of (like tucked-away backyards) or had never noticed before (e.g. historic buildings). I very much enjoyed strolling through Christianshavn, paying attention to details I am usually oblivious of and hearing about the history of the neighbourhood. I received helpful advice in terms of how to frame my pictures, from where to shoot, and what settings to use. My guide also taught me how to create lens flares which I found really cool. Thanks for an enjoyable and informative afternoon!

An eight hour trip, with pick up right at your hotel in the capital Tórshavn to the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, Slættaratindur. After leaving the capital, you will sit down in a comfortable vehicle and enjoy the beautiful scenery while your tour guide explains about the surroundings. This tour is a part of the Golden Circle tour, so you will visit the two villages Saksun and Tjørnuvík + the Fossá waterfall before the hike begins. When the hike is finished, you will get the opportunity to take some photos of the two stone formations, the Witch and the Giant, before driving back to your hotel in Tórshavn.

Went on a half day private trip from Torshavn to Mulafossur with Regin. He was fantastic at sharing his knowledge about the Faroe Islands, history, current affairs and generally about living on the Islands. Can only highly recommend taking a tour with him, it was a phenomenal tour!

Join this whole day guided tour, that begins and ends right at your hotel in Tórshavn. After leaving Tórshavn the journey takes us by the old mountain road towards Vágoy and on the way, we will make two photo stops were we can see the island of Koltur and the only prison in the Faroe Islands. We drive through the first subsea tunnel that was finished in 2002 and are now on the island of Vágoy. We drive across the whole island to the village of Gásadalur, were the famous waterfall, Múlafossur is located. We will leave the bus and walk around the village, where there will be several photo opportunities. We will visit the villages of Gásadalur, Bøur and Sandavágur and on the way we will make various photo stops, including the islet Tindhólmur and Drangarnir, which are becoming more and more famous everyday around the world. When we have visited all the villages we will head back to Tórshavn and the driver will take another route back, to make sure you will see as much as possible.

I did my workshop in January 2013, I met Matthew in a Hostel and we got along really well. I had recently just got a camera and didn't really know how to use it so I thought that this would be a perfect start to my photography journey. Matthew was great he showed me the different functions of the camera before we went out into the streets to practise even though it had been snowing. Didn't stop us from going out though. Matthew helped me through everything and answered any questions in which I had to ask. Matthew helped me to understand not just the camera but a way of shooting which was to look at things differently and not just take things standing up. After this we ended up getting told off by the Royal Guards because we were laying in the middle of the roundabout. Since the Workshop Matthew has kept in contact with me and still given me advice even though we are on the other side of the world. (I am in Australia). When I returned home to OZ I started to pursue a career and photography and have since worked for some of the biggest companies around Australia and Globally with one being Getty Images I thank Matthew for all the help with getting me started and teaching me the basics of the camera. If I ever make it back over to Copenhagen I will be sure to catch up with Matthew for a drink and catch up of stories.

They never showed up. DO NOT BOOK! We had booked a private tour and were only in the city for 3 days. Our tour guide just didn’t show up. We literally waited in the hotel for 45 min. I tried calling the day before and hours before the tour to confirm the reservation, but it would go straight to voicemail. I had to call the booking (while roaming) platform and they said I’d get a refund. It’s been 24 your no refund. I’m definitely upset. Sadly due to the short notice we couldn’t get another tour. So I definitely think this situation put a damper on our trip but we made the best of it with a free walking tour. I hope this company stops operating so unprofessional.

For our first overseas trip to Vienna, we were attending a ball. To capture this moment, I contacted Tripshooter to organise a photoshoot for us there. Tripshooter paired us with Leonardo, who is a funny and charming photographer. He made us feel comfortable and we had fun posing for the pictures. The results were stunning. The pictures came out in just the way and style that I had requested. All in all, I am impressed with Tripshooter as it made the experience seamless and we now have amazing photo souvenirs to cherish ????
