We went to the concert with some friends. Never having been there I was looking forward to seeing what the remodel looks like. The place was amazing. It’s a really intimate place for a concert from someone like Carrie. We are going to keep an eye on future events to attend.

If you like living history than a stop at the Wabash Erie Canal Park in Delphi IN is a must. Slightly off the tourist flow but so worth the trip this preserved park includes the longest remaining stretch of 468 miles of watered canal that once ran through Indiana. A restored portion of the canal, towpath, bridges, locks and pioneer village buildings bring life on the canal (circa 1840) back to the present. The quality of restoration is as good as I've seen at larger more well-known sites. There's also a museum and an opportunity to take a ride on a replica 19th century canal boat. A destination for learning about the history of the region or a recreational stop to hike or bike the trails, you will enjoy spending time here.
The Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art is located within the historic Delphi Opera House. Our gallery features the large format photography of Alan McConnell, hand crafted jewelry by Deborah Waymire, inspiring paintings by Rena Brouwer, mood palette paintings with music and textiles by Cheryl Kaldahl, along with guest artists featuring pieces in glass, pottery, wood, and more.
