RdV Vineyards is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in the historic town of Delaplane. Thomas Jefferson, a native of Virginia and founding father of our nation, was also a "man of the soil," an avid viticulturist who dreamed of creating a "great American wine based on a French model." Today, Jefferson's vision is a reality at RdV. Bordeaux grapes, planted on a granite hillside, producing wines that marry the elegance of Bordeaux with the bold spirit of California. RdV Vineyards is open to the public for Tours & Tastings at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, Thursday through Sunday. To reserve a Tour & Tasting with us, you may do so through our website or by contacting us at the winery. RdV wines are available for purchase at the winery, and through our online store with the option to pick up or ship. If you have any further questions about visiting us or our Ambassador Membership Program, please feel free to contact us. We hope that you enjoy our wines!
Wonderful wine tasting. Nice tour of a lovely facility. Despite very hot temperatures outside it was a cool and comfortable tasting. Nice touch with Dom Perignon to start, good pairing of meats and cheeses, and two of the most impressive reds in Virginia.

We stopped by here after a hike at Sky Meadows and we're so glad we did! The service was great and fun, the views were beautiful and the wines were fabulous! We ended up buying 3 bottles to take home! I also loved their little fall decorations throughout. Such a happy place - we can't wait to go back!

Delaplane is a fun experience that leaves one wanting to visit again! A beautiful vineyard, relaxing and generous pours, great food pairing, and beautiful ambiance. The staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. The wines are delicious, therefore, I highly recommend the wine club. This is a place for adults to relax and enjoy! Outstanding! I highly recommend.

Had a family meet up here with young kids (ages 2yo - 6yo). Fun for parents (wine) and kids (field to run, animals to see). The food on the menu was limited but still fine for adults. Outside food is allowed so plan to bring for kids. Lots of outdoor seating.

We invite you to relax and discover our destination winery, voted "Virginia's Favorite Winery." BOW is a special place where award-winning, handcrafted Virginia wine pairs beautifully with friends and family. Pack a picnic and spend the day enjoying live music and sweeping historic vistas. Catch the sunset from our inviting stone patio. Find fun in exploration, relaxation and conversation. Our family and dog-friendly environment is the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable day.
My husband and I stopped here in our way south for just a short bit, but it was fun and relaxing just the same. Due to the Covid things are a bit different but the bartender recommended we try the splits and we did. They were perfect, and we ended up buying a couple bottles to take with us. We try to get here at least once a year or two when we travel. They are friendly and laid back, and pet friendly which is great because we travel with our dog and there aren’t too many places on the road to bring him “in” with us. We look forward to stopping in again on our next road trip.

Beautiful setting! Laura and family are the friendliest! My favorite is the cider that they now sell at Wegmans! They have great wines also. They even have a camping package! Really recommend this place. The best. I've gone several times probably the prettiest is in the fall with the leaves all turning.
