Our family and I spent a little over an hour here and were very impressed. They had a wide variety of art including a Grant Wood exhibit that was well done, and a Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit that was very interesting. We liked most everything except a photography exhibit on the 4th floor that we found pretty dull. If you’re in the Quad Cities area you should make a point to visit. Recommended.

This has become "our" park as we always have to stop here whenever we visit the Quad Cities. - so nice to just sit under the trees and watch the ducks in the pond, take a little walk through the beautiful rose garden, explore the very interesting botanical garden w/ so many different exotic plants, and then enjoy the flower beds and pretty fountain on the other side of the park. Try spending time in this really relaxing park.

My favorite thing is the outside patio in the sunshine! It’s a favorite stop when hanging out downtown, riding bikes along the river path and then stopping in. Have done the tour several times as well =cool info and free beer! It’s kid friendly, dog friendly, has a bike station, and often live music. ...unfortunately this place was hit hard by the floods and I’m not sure it will reopen.

I am a Friend of Nahant Marsh because I believe in preserving wetlands and nature. The Education Center sponsors education for all age groups, especially the youth. I especially like the butterfly release in the Fall.

Wide River Winery's third location opened in August 2016 in the renovated/restored Peter Lampe House (1856). The tasting room, deck & patio boast views of the Village of East Davenport. Wine tastings and bottle sales available Wednesday - Sunday. Live music Saturdays 2-5pm June-October.
Great tasting wine with some of the best names for wine you will see. Make sure to ask the owners the reasoning behind "So Sue me Sue." A great atmosphere with great tasting wine! We will be back!

it was the perfect romantic outing downtown after dinner. The lights are so pretty at night and while I couldn’t capture it, it has a really nice view of the Mississippi River. This is free, just pay $1 for 0-2 hours for parking in the lot. You might even see some performers there. Don't forget to tip them.
