myself and the wife tried this for the first time for a quick meal Friday night, I got a burger and chips for the price as good as anywhere around Blackburn/Darwen, my wife got Chill and chips £4.95 and you get enough to fill you, the pub as a good feeling about it, a good selection of drinks staff very nice and polite, and very welcoming,

Local pub, ideally located close to Darwen Tower and Sunnyhurst Woods. As Darwen's first Cask Marque recognised pub,we have a good choice of real ales from both the local Thwaites Brewery and other guest brewers, along with a good selection of wines, ciders and spirits. We serve food at weekends and are dog and family friendly, so why not call in a sample one of the finest pubs in Lancashire.
Called in here a few times now, with our dog, after a great walk. Really friendly owners, dogs welcomed and lovely surroundings. Highly recommend a visit.

Unfortunately there’s no wild cabbage nests to have a rummage through but u can certainly have ur fingers in a few pies round here matey. A few trees here I’d say there’s at least 12, maybe more tbf. There’s a falling of water, also known as a waterfall, u may recall the stone roses had a song called waterfall, they got the song name from this very waterfall. There’s plenty of air here to breathe. There’s a bridge dedicated to George Micheal but after his death it was renamed after dimitar berbatov.
