Birthplace of Marcvs Marvlvs (Marko Marulić); Father of Croatian Literature. Shooting Scene of the famous series Game of Thrones. 15th Century Palace, in front of the City Museum in the Old Town (1 minute from Peristil Tower). The Croatian-Argentinean poet Tin Bojanic runs the place.
The drinks prices in Split were something of a shock to us as they are very expensive with the present exchange rate. We were therefore relieved to find that Marvlvs offered excellent wine at good prices. It was unlike any other bar that we visited during our stay in Croatia, with a unique history and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The jazz music made a nice change from the music heard elsewhere and the bar just seemed to exhibit discernment and good taste. The food options were a little limited however if you are not a cheese lover.

ShotGun is the first shooters bar in Croatia! We are a tiny bar located in Get, the most bohemian part of the Diocletian Palace in Split.
Extreamly funy interior, very original and cool. Great shots that the owners have invented themselves. A tiny place but we were dancing !! :-) Can only recomend !

In old town Sibenik, small intime atmospher wich reflects the story of Sibenik. Don't miss evening enjoying live music with our offer of beer, local wine, and especily list of cocktails. Besides well known classics we will suprise you with original recepies, signed by the owners of Rebeus bar.
What a lovely find upon wandering the streets of Sibenik! A gorgeous, cosy little space with outdoor seating area under umbrellas. Surrounding area is relatively quiet so makes this space a good spot for drinks and chat. Cocktails were delicious, our barman/waiter Kreshe (spelling could be wrong!) is an absolute legend - warm, friendly and energetic, remembering our orders every time we popped in (which was pretty much every other night of our stay!). We were made to feel welcome straight away. Great playlist too! I would recommend Rebus bar to anyone visiting Sibenik!

We came here twice while on our honeymoon on Vis and both times I had the ‘Lambik Calzone’ which was up there with the best calzones I’ve ever had. They share space with the restaurant next door too so you can get other meals if you like, which my wife decided to do. On our second visit it was evening (I think Friday but can’t be sure) there was also a fantastic female singer with a guitar player who kept us hanging around for a couple more drinks with some great covers. I’ll miss the calzone!

We stopped in here for some wine and some munchies. We're glad we did. The proprietor is certainly an expert on the local wines. The munchies were great although the menu is somewhat limited due to the time of year. But don't let that stop you. If you like wine, this is the place to go.
