Would recommend this venue for any gathering. Beautiful building and setting with ample car parking. Donna and her team were well organised, friendly and helpful. We had a funeral tea here last week and were well catered for and looked after admirably. Just a very nice venue for any occasion.

St Marys Episcopal Church

This is a beautiful Church located to the right of the road as you enter Dalkeith Palace. It’s lovely to walk around it and admire the impressive architecture, gargoyles and gabled roof. I’d like to see inside after the Covid restrictions are lifted.

This is a beautiful Church on the main road and a few minutes walk from the town centre. It’a great to look at the Church from the outside and there is the interesting partly ruined section. A must see when in Dalkeith.

Dalkeith Water Tower

As the owner, who has not listed the water tower as a trip advisor experience, I can at least write to say I recommend it. It is a home, sometimes available for rental, but not always. The history of this remarkable building in Dalkeith can be found using a Google search. The recent history of the tower might also be gleaned from water tower wood blog spot, or better still, a google search on Gerry Goldwyre. It’s a stunning building, built in 1879 to hold a tank of water. It’s quite unique to Scotland and it’s an iconic building in the Historic Town of Dalkeith.

St John And King Parks Church

This is a huge Church which was extensively renovated a few years ago. A welcoming congregation meets here (online only now due to Covid restrictions). There is a huge and impressive stained glass window. It is next to the park and war memorial.
