Best viewed early morning or late afternoon.

Entrance Fee is Php5.00/person, from the Dalaguete Public Market, you can take a motorcycle for P8.00 or you can also take the multi-cabs, those that are going to Alcoy or Boljoon.
Taking a multi-cab is recommended especially if you're traveling about 5-10 persons.
It's short walk from the main road, around 3-5 minutes only.
You can bring food and drinks, just make sure to bring your own utensils (fork, glass, knife, spoon, plates, etc.
There's no place to stay in the area, you can probably stay here until 6pm.
I recommend to research first and/or check the traditional calendar if it's a High Tide or Low Tide because it's not good if you'll go there during the low tide. Also, I don't recommend going there during rainy days, knowing that it's a small spring, sometimes, the water is not too clear and looks dirty during the rainy days.
Small Stores is available in the area and those that are selling banana, mango, and there's also Videoke.

Kandungaw Peak

Looking for an easy climb? This place is good for starters.
Candongao or Kandungaw Peak is one of the attractions south of Cebu. Dalaguete is about 90 kms south of Cebu City.
From Cebu City, there are buses to Dalaguete/Oslob (fare costs P95 to P130). After about 3 hours of bus ride, get off at the first stop in Dalaguete town proper. A 30-minute motorcycle ride from Dalaguete town proper to this site is P150 to P200 per person. Pay the tourism staff P50 entrance fee, and a guide will be assigned to you.
This is one place where an actual visit is necessary. Awesome view atop Kandungaw Peak!

Mike runs a great tour with good quality equipment and appropriate attention to safety. The scenery in the canyon is absolutely stunning, abundant nature, azure waters and in places almost cave-like rock formations. The tour can be physically challenging in places and a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Jumps into the cool and refreshing water tend to get progressively higher until a final optional 60ft jump into a deep pool challenges the very bravest and rounds off the tour. Highly recommended!

San Guillermo de Aquitana Church

Reviewed By Victorianlad - Melbourne, Australia

Dalaguete's Catholic Church dates from 1711.
It has a beautiful restored exterior along with a wonderful recently repainted fresco on the ceiling.
The way that the wooden adjunct to the Church along with the presbytery has been constructed reminds one of Italy or more logically, Spain.
The outlook to the plaza and the aquamarine sea is also attractive.
When I arrived the Church was closed but someone from the office arranged for a 10 year old boy to open it up for us. Please donate via the office.

Rock Formations

When you are trekking up to Osmena Peak, you would see rock formations along the way usually on the north and eastern side of the Peak. Though not gigantic one as you would expect but the formation are nice. People trekking Osmena Peak would usually spent few minutes on those rocks for picture taking or taking some souvenir shots.
Aside from the Rock Formations, you would pass by the Mercado's Peak before reaching Osmena Peak if you are passing the northern side of the O'peak.

Obong Watchtower

Reviewed By Adnil-94102 - Vallejo, California

The Obong watchtower is a remnant of the Spanish occupation of Cebu. Along with the church in Dalaguete, it is most likely one of the oldest structures in the area. It is interesting to note that part of it was built with "bricks" made of coral. Great vistas from besides the tower and if it gets too hot, you are just steps from the freezing cold Obong spring. Worth a stop off of the national highway if you're in the area.

If you are trekking Osmena Peak, make a side trip to Mercado's Peak, it is located near or in the vicinity of O'Peak.
Usually, people climb this peak for posterity or picture taking. So far, nothing special in there. It's just a peak with vegetable farms on the base.
