With our cars and drunk us transport you everywhere in Dakar and in the senegal in safety(security)
Cannot fault this company. I’ve just returned from a trip to Senegal with a group of solo travellers from Europe and the US. This company took care of all our transportation needs during the 10 day trip including airport transfers. The mini bus has WiFi and air conditioning and is comfortable for a large group of 14. We were able to build a great rapport with our driver Laitey and guide (and owner of EFCM) Mamadou who went above and beyond keeping us safe, introducing us to local culture and customs, translating and even bartering in the market. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Senegal and will definitely use their services again when I return.

Art gallery residence featuring works of South African and Australian world renowned artist Loman Pawlitschek. Many of the artworks are created from 3-D multi dimensional designs. Temporary exhibitions include the work of local artists presenting urban pop art. Home furnishings and accessories are also on display.
Loman Art is a beautiful and inspiring art gallery where you'll get the chance to discover emerging artists from Senegal and the whole continent and sometimes even see them at work. Loman, the curator, is very kind and welcoming and loves sharing her knowledge about art and Africa. Definitely a must see!

Set up in 1972, this gallery is a "MUST" while visiting Africa. It is dedicated to African tribal art. On 4305 Ft2 are displayed the late Marthe Everlé and Claude Everlé Collections dated from 1963 : wooden masks, figures, stools & beds from West & Central Africa, Benin & Dogon bronzes, Terracottas... We exhibit artists from the Dakar School of paintings and sell 18th Century glass beads' necklaces.
Don’t let the name put you off. Gallery Antenna was started 50 years by the current owner’s father who was a salesman for 3M throughout West Africa. He was self-trained and had an excellent eye . The collection is extensive, organized by country/tribe and each piece is documented with its provenance and history. Excellent prices too! Also have paintings but they are new.

According to the local guides, the building is now a hospital run by nuns but it used to be a slave house owned by a lady born of a white Portuguese man and a black virgin slave. Being a child of the slave owner, she had the power to own and sell slaves. This is one of the many relics of the slave trade.
