Another of Tokyo's entertainment districts, this man-made island in Tokyo Bay is home to restaurants, theme parks and interesting architecture.
I have been to Japan 8 times in the past but never made an effort to visit Odaiba till this trip since we were to depart from Haneda back to USA and stayed in Shinagawa for a night. It’s truly a fun place for all ages. Odaiba is a city of its own with amusement park, waterfront marine park where you will find a small replica of Statue of Liberty standing on the edge of the park with Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay on the background. It’s the most visited site on the island. Kids love the fun activities; young adults love shopping for fashion ware, while some prefers visiting the science museums. Ferris wheel and Fuji TV headquarter’s sliver globe observatory are considered the iconic landmarks, along with Rainbow Bridge, all can be seen from the other side of Tokyo Bay by Hamamatsucho. At the waterfront by Aqua City you can include Statue of Liberty, Rainbow Bridge and a tiny needle look of Tokyo Tower all three in one shot of picture, along with Tokyo’s skyscrapers in distance. There are varieties of international cuisines for your hungry appetite or snack shops for midday break. Marine Park is a great location to watch sunset. Night views from the waterfront are exceptional impressive when lighted Rainbow Bridge and small tourist boats shine the darkness of sky. Free shuttle provided by Tokyo Bay bus that loop around the popular sites from The Nation Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation to the waterfront marine park. It runs every 20 minutes till 7pm. There is Rainbow Bus company from Shinagawa Station to Odaiba, runs every so often hourly from East Exit(Konan Exit); turn right you will see a sign directing you to the bus waiting stop. It takes 17 minutes, 210 yens each ride, the last hour of bus return is 9:57 pm., if you miss it there are taxis available to get back to Shinagawa. You can also take a private rail Yurikamome Line from Shinbashi station. If you are making a stop-over there is a manned booth for luggage stored by the west exit( near the Keikyu Rail elevator access) inside of the JR station or just rent a locker.

This is not so easy to find but is a great place to visit as it is interactive and fun for all ages - do go in as even though a lot of the outside is in Japanese, it is free to enter and one can interact with the robots that are generally used for other tasks in the real world, such as car manufacture or medicines and travel in a VR reality as well! The staff are really friendly and we came away with portraits drawn by a robot as well - all free of charge! Definitely recommended Enjoy

On Odaiba, an artificial island developed to showcase futuristic living, the Fuji TV Building is an eye-catching landmark. It sits like a docked space shuttle atop a hyper-modern lattice building.

The largest indoor theme park in Odaiba DECKS Tokyo Beach. It’s indoor so you can comfortably enjoy even in hot summer, cold winter, and rainy days. There are more than 20 types of attractions dotted which includes roller coaster.
My husband and I had a blast here. We were probably lucky to go on a weekday as I'm sure it can get very busy, but the lines were pretty reasonable when we went. I had so much fun on the Tokyo Halfpipe and the indoor rollercoaster. All the rides were fun, even the ones in Japanese only were very enjoyable and I could tell the staff tried hard to make sure we enjoyed them too. Sadly we were really getting jetlagged and couldn't spend as long as we wanted here but the few hours we did spend were awesome and I would definitely visit again. Also they had a really cute concert on the main floor and the audience had little glowsticks, it was freaking adorable.

This shopping mall with a view is on Odaiba, Tokyo's man-made island. Here, find more than 80 stores-including international and local clothing shops-plus dozens of restaurants.
I had read about the restaurants here on trip advisor before I had left home and when we arrived at our hotel our rooms weren’t ready so I suggested we come here. Only a short walk from our hotel taking in the Statue of Liberty and rainbow bridge. In the entrance we decided on a place to eat and headed for the fifth floor, very easy. There are also some great shops here.

You want to check out the anime/manga selection? Check! Coffee time at cafes? Check! Candy stores or vending machines for cute trinkets? Check and check! Nothing can go amiss here at DECKS. And let me tell you about the decks at Decks lol It is by far the BEST place for the perfect view of Rainbow Bridge. I had the best time enjoying the gorgeous view. It's really a sight you can't miss. I can't stress enough how much fun I had at a shopping mall. Enjoy!

Madame Tussauds Tokyo lets you get close to and take photos with over 70 life-like figures of world celebrities including Hollywood legends, sporting heroes, historical icons and Japanese celebrities.
This place was tricky to find but we got there after asking a friendly shop assistant for directions. We spent about 2-3 hours here taking photos with western celebrities and Japanese as well. We did some crazy poses and had a lot of fun doing it! When we went they had a hologram show where they scan your face then you watch a ballet show with one of the performers looking just like you. Was really cool. We also paid about 1,500 Yen to have our hands done in wax. It takes about half an hour so get it done and go off and explore and come back and get them. A unique souvenir I think. Well worth a visit and buy your tickets online if you can, works out to be a little bit cheaper.

During winter vacation, me and my family spent a fun filled day at Lego discovery center. I bought the tickets online and we were the first person to enter!!! my sons (4 and 10) enjoyed looking at the mini-land. We watched the 4D movie 2 times as it was really amazing. My eldest son enjoyed the stop motion activity which allowed him to make his own mini movie. You can even save and send the movie to yourself. The build a racer really got their attention. they tried to build and re-build a faster and tougher lego racing car and did a friendly competition with other kids. My youngest spent an hour in the duplo section. There was a mini playground. They keep coming back to the Ninja go section where there is a huge playground and also some characters came to visit. also Lego Santa came. Of course I cannot forget the food in the cafeteria. It was good and the price is reasonable. come visit, learn and enjoy!!!
