I happened to be here in early November while the Chrysanthemum Festival was taking place and it was absolutely beautiful! There were many sculptures made from Chrysanthemum flowers, so I highly recommend going there when they are in bloom. It was also fall, so the beautiful orange, yellow, and red leaves were everywhere. It was absolutely breathtaking.

My korean friend helped me to get there (without car it can be difficult) and I'm in love! The way to up is kinda hard and you can sweat like crazy but the view is worth everything! Adorable area while climbing and great spot to take photos.

It is a home stadium of Samsung Lions pro baseball team. This stadium was built by 19, March, 2016.
You can get an affordable seat whether you want to sit near the cheerleaders or along the baseline. There is plenty of food and beer available inside at somewhat reasonable prices depending on what you want. The crowd is super fun, so happy to support the team. There are a song and dance for every player and everyone seems to know the words! Great family outing or just go as a baseball fan.

It is a cable car of Palgonsan Mountain. Although there is a hiking course, you can begin to walk higher point!
Daegu is a beautiful city with many fine restaurants and places of interest to see. Our trip on the Cable Car to the top gave us an unbelievable view of the city and surrounding area. In expensive and a must visit.

I heavily used the bus and subway systems during my stay in Daegu. Bus takes you closer but subway is much easier to use.Try the yellow line #3 for a unique experience. Its above ground monorail. Great shopping area was Banwoldang stop on the 1 or 2 Lines (green and red). I traveled to multiple cities during my stay and used my T-Money card. I could not recharge my card at the Daegu stations, but could do it at 7-11.

Do you guys also love night markets like me?? I enjoyed buying cheap foods, desserts & drinks here soooo much! The market itself was really big and filled with ppl, however they all wear masks and follow the rules well, so I didnt worry much about corona. P.s. Intestines are famous in Daegu, so make sure to try one here for a very cheap price!

There are landmark Daegu Tower, outdoor stadium, walking paths, lights displayed in winter time. It's one of greatest places that families, couples and friends enjoy in here.

I went first with a friend and later with my family! There’s something for everyone and some carnival-style games for the kids. When we went they had a concert at the outside stage with different folk singers. There are many different vendors, please look for the lady that sells the candied strawberry! They are delicious. When we went it was extremely hot but the trees keep it shady and cool and they also have misters. It makes for a nice stroll enjoying the music and murals. There are many cafes to try, we enjoyed our day there.

Daegu 83 Tower was definitely one of the highlights of my first trip to Daegu. As it has everything I like! Firstly, it has a super cool Trick Eye Museum! I've been to one in Seoul, but the one in Daegu is definitely more thrilling! Secondly, it has a beautiful observatory desk where you can see the whole of Daegu in your palms <3 How wonderful ~ Last, but not least, it has Ashley (aka buffet-style restaurant) And for me, food is everything <3 So my day was filled with lots of cool photos, beautiful view of Daegu and a very delicious food :) P. S: it also has some cool shops & cafes as well as cool installations! So I definitely recommend to check it out when you're in Daegu ;)
