Go on a high-quality, guided safari on a working exotic game ranch in Tampa Bay, Florida.
My wife and I read 5 star reviews prior to visiting The Giraffe Ranch and we realized that the cost would be $90.00 per person, including children. We were a bit skeptical that we would get that much value from the experience but went for it anyway. We were thrilled to discover that it is worth every penny and more. The ranch owners personally spent more than two hours with us. The experience was not only enjoyable but more importantly a real education. They team teach you and you will love it! We are grandparents so we brought our 5 year old, who interacted with both husband and wife with great enjoyment. They clearly enjoy teaching children. The bottom line is that the Giraffe Ranch is definitely worthwhile.

We visited August 15th (2017) as a family and had a fantastic time, the staff were all so knowledgeable about the (rescued) animals they have there and obviously have a strong bond with them, John who drove us round really knew his stuff and gave us a great tour full of facts and humour. We read the reviews before visiting and rang up the day before to see if we could do any of the hands on encounters (quite rightly they reserve the right to cancel these last minute in favour of the animals welfare) my son spent time with a pig (his favourite) and my daughter a bear! don't expect the gloss of other parks this is a basic outfit trying to do their best for the animals in their care, they need you to visit so they can expand and improve the facilities, they've evidently been targeted by the extremists who are opposed to animals being kept by humans even if it means we lose endangered species, so are a tad reserved when you first arrive but soon warm up. We had a great time well worth the visit and I want to thank them for making it such a great day out!

SCREAM-A-GEDDON is what happens when the best minds in the haunted house industry come together in the Tampa Bay, Florida area to produce a haunted house like no other. Located in Dade City, Florida, just minutes from Tampa and Orlando, SCREAM-A-GEDDON is six spectacular haunted house attractions including a Monster Midway. SCREAM-A-GEDDON is Central Florida's only large scale independent scream park designed to scare and entertain thousands of patrons every fall.
Let’s start with I LOVE Halloween and more so I LOVE to be scared. So I’m a little bit of a tough critic. Scream-a-geddon does not disappoint in the scaring department at all. Well designed haunted houses that are truly scary and will leave you shaking! The ‘touch opt in’ option is fun and could actually be played up more! The woods trail was much scarier this year with tons of live actors and dark spooky corners.
The two issues I see are these:
They need more food options...the lines for the sole food truck was so long. There are several beer stands why not more food options?
The cost. It’s a tad over priced to wait in line for hours on end to only add on a insanely over priced ‘VIP’ ticket which expedited the lines but made it a $300 night for 4 people. Not including food or beer. Why not either move people along more quickly (the employees were very laid back and not really caring how long the lines were)? We went early in the evening and season and it was already busy. So while I recommend for the scare I would get there when it opens and beat the lines!
And Scream-o-Geddon...how about at least a promo code or thought into the cost? It was great but you’re not universal studios!

If you love the primitives of early America, this is the place. They have beautiful handmade wooden boxes and hand-stitched wall hanging samplers. One thing that was especially lovely, were old Christmas ornaments. Even the newer ones would fit in perfectly with antiques.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this store and saw a nice mix of antiques and wine. The store's merchandise was displayed very nicely and they have a varied selection of antiques. Their fine wine selection made it so easy for me to pick up a nice bottle wine for my hosts in the Tampa area.
