We are an award winning chocolate, pastry, and gelato shop, located in the heart of historic downtown Culpeper. We look forward to your visit!
This is a charming shop for gifts or treats. The individual decorated cake confections are a delight and very hard to choose your selection. There are trays and trays of individual chocolates all fresh and delectable. It is fun to browse the gourmet foods and utensils with different choices each visit. The owner is charming. Come in to rest, and be refreshed.

These folks make the best granola I've ever had. It usually comes in three varieties which include dried blueberries or cherries, or perhaps maple-pecan. This is my usual breakfast at home.

This distillery has a fabouls array of whiskeys (bonded or not) and allows 6 tastings to pick out the best ones that fit your pleasure. The staff is extrememly knowledgable to let you know how the spritis are handled and checked. The plant is easy to find and able to have you sit and try the tastes and ask for others that may be better to your taste; including moonshine. This is the best one I found since the several others I went to try. They even have a sales fellow (Tim) who even comes to other states to show them around. Tim will be in New Jersey this month and you can always ask when he will be in your area or in another state.

My coworkers and I were in town for an event and stumbled upon Far Gohn. What a great find! Even though they were busy, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The whole place had a casual welcoming feel, and even though there was live music, we could carry on a conversation. We sampled quite a few different brews, and didn't find a stinker in the bunch. Then there was the pizza. Even if you don't like beer, the pizza is reason enough to check out Far Gohn. The crust is thin and perfectly executed. The sauce and toppings are bright and fresh. I mean, these pizzas are so good, they'll bring a tear to your eye. It's only been 24 hours, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it back to Culpeper.

Every time I go to Culpepper, I visit this shop and I am drawn in by the carefully selected and beautifully arranged collections that are unique and special. Last Christmas, my husband even did a bit of shopping at The Cameleer. He bought me some of the Possum Down gloves. I have a drawer full of gloves -- leather, suede, cotton, etc. I have not worn any other gloves since the first time I put them on. And they still look brand new. I love them! Thank you for establishing such a fine gem and find of a shop for Virginia. I wish I were closer!

A rustic farm winery just minutes from downtown Culpeper. Our tasting rooms are in a 1952 corn crib-style barn and our property preserves the original look and feel of our 125-year old farm. You'll love our ~18 wines and hard cider and if you come on the right day you'll be treated to live music, great food, and maybe a LARP event!
