Do go on one of their open days. It is well worth a visit. Had a really good tour with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide - it took 90 minutes. You have an introduction outside then the tour inside starts at the top floor and you work your way down. Stairs are steep and narrow but doable for most people. Some great views from the top floor. Throughout the mill are meccano working models of different aspects of the mill. Outside is a small information centre and cafe. I really think they should charge for the tours!

A lovely place where you can find calmness in a noisy city. Sometimes you can listen to organ recitals on Wednesday, you may check the website of the Church. The organ is quite beautiful.

It is a great place for a dog walk with numerous paths and lovely woodland and hills. In some of the areas you can't hear the roads. There's plenty of parking and also a Chinese restaurant

This Catholic Church is centrally located with great transport links from East Croydon and West Croydon, buses and tram. It's also only about 20 minutes walk from which ever direction. It's perfect for holidayers looking for Mass or just some quiet time or silence before the Tabernacle. Monday to Friday is daily Mass @ 10am & 12.10pm. There is also a Saturday @ 10am Mass. Sunday Masses include a Saturday 7pm Vigil, then on the Sunday 8am, 9.15am, 10.45am, 12.15pm, 3pm & 6pm. Holyday of obligation Masses are usually 8am and 7pm as additional Masses and during publicised Devotions/Novenas, an occasional weekday evening Mass is detailed in the parish newsletter which can be downloaded from the parish web site. There is some parking for Mass-goers/those coming for prayers. So don't delay, come and pray and this will make your holiday !

Physical Energy Statue

Reviewed By Travelling_SE_Asia - St. Albans, United Kingdom

I’m not the only one who found this statue to be strange. I could hear others who were viewing it talking about how it seems misplaced in Hyde Park. Not sure what it’s supposed to be and what it represents but it’s a beautifully crafted statue even if it is out of place.
