This picturesque ramble starts by the shoreline, works past the church, with commanding views right and left to two Firths. Ignore the oil rigs. It slowly winds up hill, past a Neolithic rock hunting ground and pushes upwards quite steeply to reach a viewpoint, with one seat. Take sometime here to admire the view and look for dolphins, because this is the best viewpoint on the walk. There’s absolutely no view when you reach the small car park at the top!

Nicely laid out and easily coping with social distancing, providing sanitiser and distancing. The shop had a very eclectic and interesting range of products and is well worth visiting

A very interesting museum set inside the original courthouse, the downstairs shows life and times on the black isle, the upstairs is the court room and a mock trial in progress, very funny as the characters were wearing PPE. There are also cells to see and a small shop. The staff were very friendly and informative. Free entry but a donation is welcome.

This is a fabulous wee gift shop with great gifts, knitwear and pictures. It is well worth calling in and I am sure you will find a gift to treat a loved one or even yourself.
