Visited over two days and did trail B and trail E. Both excellent and breathtaking views. Start as early as you can as it just gets busier. Terrain nice and easy and nota problem.

A little remote, but definately worth a visit. You get some very interesting and surprising information about these amazing birds from some very dedicated people

This 18th-century, 18 hectare park also houses the city zoo.
What a lovely park. There's plenty of green space to have a picnic, play with your pup, do yoga, etc., and trails to stroll along or run on. Maksimir is an ideal place to get outdoors while staying in the city.

Amazing island, with plenty of things to do and discover: botanical garden, Dead Sea, olive groves, beautiful views, with many peacocks and rabbits around, old Benedictine monastery, exhibition and info on Game of Thrones as well. Very nice playground and volleyball/ soccer playgrounds. Don’t forget to bring your swimwear: you have many places to take a refreshing bath on the rocks (and showers as well). We arrived with our sailing boat and moored in the southern bay, there are boats from Dubrovnik harbor departing every now and then to reach the island!

Because of its extensive green park, flower beds, trees, fountains & proximity to Jelicic Square in the centre of Zagreb, many locals can be seen simply enjoying this space. The Meteorological Pole, The First Fountain & the wrought iron Bandstand are all features within its green borders. Zrinjevic is the northern square in Lenuci's Green Horseshoe, & is an ideal starting point for a walk to take in beautiful parks, grand buidings, statues & much more.

We enjoyed a good up hill walk here and amazing views. The park needs a little clean up, but it was definitely one of the best things we did when in Split.

There are three good ways to view the Veliki Slap (also known as The Big Waterfall on the park maps). The view from the top at Ulz Entrance 1 gives the full impression from high across the canyon; the view from the bottom of the falls requires a hike down and across, usually wending around lots of people; and the view from above at the top on the side of P3. Each provides a different appreciation. Earlier and later in the day, when the tour groups have not yet shown up or have disappeared might create a better sense.

We hired a fast boat for the day and visited the Blue Cave and then the islands after. We all wished we had spent more time exploring the islands than spending hours going to the Cave. The little bays are beautiful and make sure you visit Marmito’s for lunch

The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest and largest national park in the Republic of Croatia, famous for its numerous turquoise-coloured lakes separated by tufa, or travertine, barriers. Its karst landscape is characterised by specific hydrological traits and exceptional biological diversity, which helped the National Park gain international significance. Magical lakes and waterfalls in Croatia, it was utterly mesmerising, the vivid colours and raw nature walk through the park. We were overwhelmed by the crystal clear waters and exceptionally well maintained park. They have well planned walks for everyone, from a nice relaxed trek from 2 hours to a more expert level of all day. We opted for the 2-3 hour walk and it was perfect to enjoy the wonderful park, a short boat ride and leisurely stroll with magnificent views of the magical lakes and waterfalls. Once you are finished there is a shuttle bus waiting to return you back to the entrance, where you have a short walk back to the carpark. We chose 'Program E' for Easy:-) It starts at the southern entrance to the Park (“Entrance 2”). The tour is circular and includes the area of "Upper Lakes". The program includes a short boat ride across Lake "Kozjak" followed by a walk upstream all the way to Prošćansko Lake. Return to the starting point is by panoramic train. Experience the idyllic beauty of the peaceful and spacious "Upper Lakes" with wooded shores and their most attractive waterfalls "Veliki" and "Mali prštavcima" as well as many smaller waterfalls.
