We went with Nikola two times on hiking tour. First to Hum peak, Tito's cave, Podhumlje and back to Komiza and the second was to the other side of Komiza bay. Wonderful hiking with Nikola who is a beautiful person with passion and great wide knowledge about history as he is also a history teacher. Vis is beautiful from any angle, but I would totally recommend that you take a tour with Nikola and explore it on foot.

Fort George

After the Royal Navy's victory at the Battle of Vis (1811) the British built a series of fortifications on the island, the largest and most important being named after the British King, King George III. Set on a high promontory with a dazzling view out across the Adriatic, bathed in sunshine and tickled by a light sea breeze, Fort George is one of the Vis' attractions not to be skipped. The Fortres has been renovated into a multifunctional events venue containing a restaurant and a lounge bar that turns into a nigt club few nights a week.

I atended a wedding at Fort George and it was an amazing experiance, the food was fantastic and we had the most beautiful sunset. There are so many good things to say about this place but I will just point out the main stuff. Staff- what can I say about the staff other than they are super helpful and polite! Overall would 100 % come back and party at this place again. There really isn't a negative comment I could say about it- fantastic!
