Located on the road Gueret-Aubusson and adjoining Gueret, stands the castle of Sainte Feyre on the site of a feudal castle and a fortress. The castle is rebuilt between 1758 and 1762 at the request of the Marquis of Sainte Feyre to welcome his young wife, daughter of the Marquis of Soudeille in Correze. Great experience to do with kids and very lovely owners, Billy who’s Belgian and his wife who’s French and speaks English well. You go into a safari truck and ride through the bush to see the Bizons. We stopped there and Billy told great stories about himself, the bizons and answered all the questions we wanted to know. It was great for us adults and the kids. Would definitely recommend, also because he runs his business very organic and sustainable with love for nature. Not farmers should do this!
