The newest Beach Club in Cozumel Zip line, Waverunner, Paddle Board, Snorkel, Fish Spa, Massage, Bar- Restaurant and Beach
We just left the Islands beach club. We loved our time spent there. Staff was helpful & fun! Very clean facilities. Wasn’t overly crowded & food was excellent! We did the zip line & bridge course along with guided snorkeling. All was safe & we felt comfortable even as beginners. Saw lots of fish including a sting ray! Mario was our excellent host. Highly recommended for families.

Although we have seen people get into the water at this place, note that it is really not a beach but the Ocean. The waves are enormous and powerful and if you are not a great swimmer you should not get in. I will not deny that it is truly breathtaking, but the sea should not be toyed with! The kiosks around here are great and the photos you take will come out stunning! I suggest that you rent a car to tour this place and stay as long as you like! Enjoy but be careful!

As long as we’ve been going to Cozumel, we’ve been going to the Money Bar! And we don’t just go once, we go EVERY day!! We always go after scuba diving, just in time to enjoy the best 2-for-1 Happy Hour on the island, served by the best waitstaff! Everything on the menu is delicious, tho you could make a meal out of the appetizers alone (which we’ve done more than once!)! Don’t miss the best nachos, ceviche and guacamole you will ever have!! This is the perfect venue to start off your evening or while away the night - complete with majestic sunsets and live entertainment (Thursdays thru Sundays). It’s a guaranteed favorite of locals and repeat tourists alike!

Yes, this is “Almost” an undiscovered beach. When conditions are right, this is one of the top three or even top two beaches on the island. Flat, clean (no rocks) firm bottom and you can wonder 50 yards into the ocean and be waist deep. I have been visiting Cozumel for over 20 years and 14 plus trips and somehow, I just found this beach a few years back. It has been built up for tourist over the past few years but unlike Punta Sur Eco Beach Park, there is no entry fee and the “Built up" part is “Off Beach".... You can rent a few beach chairs and umbrellas for typically 10 to 20 bucks (four chairs and two umbrellas) very negotiable. Staying for several hours pay the twenty bucks. Staying for just a couple of hours, tell the man and offer a few less bucks. The last time there we could still bring our own cooler with drinks and snacks. There is beach service also but it is a little spotty. So, you can also walk up to the big hut and purchase drinks and food and bring back to your beach chairs. Bit tip for you to know. If you are planning on spending the day in the water conditions will be best when the wind is out of the west. When the wind is strong and out of the east the wave get big (but fun) so plan on staying close to shore. There is lifeguard service at the beach. Also when the winds are strong out of the east you could have seaweed and entry and on the beach. With that said, if all you did was to go and see the beach, it will be a lasting memory. The most wonderful thing about Playa Palancar is that it feels like a private beach. It is quieter than most beaches in Cozumel and presents both a great diversity of activities and a peaceful environment. Order a Margarita in one of the beach bars. The seafood here is fabulous. Try the local specialties: the Ceviche, a seafood dish marinated in citrus juice with chili, and the fillet with the garlic sauce, a grilled fish with garlic. When you're in the mood for a little activity, rent a snorkel gear and swim from the beach, or take a snorkeling tour at a distance from the nearby reefs or "el cielo" beach On the beach there is a wide variety of water activities available, such as kayaking by the sea, Paddle board or take a parachute tour.
Great spot to relax. Nice beach, friendly staff, gentle sandy turquoise waters. Food was good, beer was cold. Not packed in like sardines - felt like there was space to relax. The adjacent scuba/snorkel place was awesome. My daughter and I did a scuba discovery trip on the Colombia reef. Alex (Alejandro) showed us the ropes then took us out with a small group of snorklers. The boat captain knew where to stop b/c we wasted no time finding fish and sea life. Alejandro really took care of us down there. Will be back!
