Nestled in the beautiful Cowichan Valley our 50-acre estate has the perfect microclimate that allows us to grow 7-different varietals, ranging from fruity whites to full-bodied reds that are unique to Vancouver Island. Enrico wines are winning medals across Canada and the United States. We are opened all year round and invite you to visit us to enjoy a sample of our wines in our tasting room.
Visited on a sunny spring day and were the only ones on the deck. Barb was a wonderful host with a wealth of information. We bought over a case as the wine was good value.

Loved this winery! This is a true family winery nestled in the Cowichan Valley. Mark (winemaker) and Linda (President) and their daughters Robin and Katherine bring commitment and delight to winemaking resulting in amazing products. My daughter and I tasted five beautiful wines while Linda provided details and history while we sipped. She shared family stories and even unveiled a fun contest where we could vote between winemaker father and daughter's Pinot Gris. We had a wonderful visit and felt safe with all Covid protocols fully observed. Thank you!

One of the oldest Estate Wineries in all of British Columbia, Blue Grouse is truly a magical place! Nestled on a 32arce piece of unspoiled Cowichan Valley countryside, this family owned winery and vineyard produces some of the most awarded wines on the entire island! From Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Ortega, Bacchus and the very rare Black Muscat, Blue Grouse produces new classic wines from old island vines.
The staff at Blue Grouse are very friendly and accommodating! They do a great job at making the tasting experience safe due to Covid by having the glasses all poured and tables made up nicely with information provided on the wines. The staff do a great commentary and provide an excellent tasting experience. We were pretty happy with the wines. Blue Grouse is a beautiful estate winery with lovely views of the vineyard and mountain vistas. I highly recommend Blue Grouse!

We stopped in for a tasting and Maria (co-owner) gave us an in-depth history of the winery. We tasted 5 wines and were there for about an hour. Much more relaxed than in Ontario wineries. We really enjoyed the wine and the personal touch. Highly recommended. This winery, like all others, is not a suitable place for children. They`ll become very easily bored.

I enjoyed every bit of it with my family on this mother's day celebration 2020. Merci beaucoup! Thank you, we will be back! Suzanne Dionne-Coster and Craig Schmidt

A Lavender Farm and Winery in the Southern Cowichan Valley offers a wine tasting room, gift shop, vineyard, gardens, picnic areas. 45 minute drive from Downtown Victoria
Lovely farm and winery in the cowichan valley within an hour of Victoria. Most of the lavender had been harvested by late August but there were still remnants around. The grape vines were getting heavy on the vine ready to be harvested. The staff was friendly and the tastings were delicious. The shop had lots of selection to choose from.

This small family vineyard have wines with a big personality just like their owners. You can tell that these wine makers love what they do, it really shows in their wines. On the wine tour we took they were the ones too beat, but none did. They also make real balsamic vinegar. Not what you buy in the store but the real thing. They can tell you all about it as it’s way over my head. They also make absolutely delicious jams. We left there with a bag full of wine, balsamic vinegar and fig and balsamic vinegar jam. It was the hem of the Cowichan Valley. Make a reservation!
Glenterra Vineyards maintains 5 acres of sustainably dry farmed vineyards in the Cowichan Valley, additional grapes are purchased as needed from vineyards that use similarly responsible farming methods. No chemical herbicides, systemic fungicides or pesticides are used, only natural fertilizers with organic ingredients and our composted pomace for the vineyard. We are proud to have been farming our property in this manner for 20+ years. Since the 2010 vintage our winemaking has emphasized a minimalist & natural approach, no enzymes used at crush, indigenous yeast fermentation, no animal based fining products. (vegan friendly) and minimal use of sulphites. These protocols produce wines with vibrant character that are expressive of their terroir.
