Absolutely amazing experience at the secret spa. On arrival our host Davy showed us to our amazing luxury cabin. Then we both had relaxing treatments by very experienced therapists. A very chilled out evening- we used the sauna and our own private hot tub. We loved our BBQ dinner experience, and enjoyed the company of the other guests. Can’t honestly say it was the best sleep I’ve had in a very long time. Glynis and Davy are a fantastic team and deserve every success. Can’t recommend this place enough. Just amazing!

Immerse yourself in the extraordinary world of Seamus Heaney, and explore through his words and imagination the people and place that so inspired him. Visit the award-winning exhibition now.
An excellent introduction to the life and work of Seamus Heaney. Really interesting exhibition, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great local refreshments available in the coffee shop. All social distancing measures in place including one way system and lots of sanitiser but does not take away from the experience at all.

Our family of four spent a wonderful week in Ireland and Northern Ireland in early September as part of a cultural tour from Delectable Destinations. Red Walker and ECS Travel were a huge part of what made this trip so outstanding. Informative...professional...safety first...Red became an integral part of our tour from Dublin to Rathmullan, Donegal, Slieve League, Fanad Peninsula, Derry, Giants Causeway, and over to Belfast. And when one of Red's passenger vans had mechanical issues, he and his wife Deirdre showed up with two vehicles to get us around! We all learned so much from both Red and Deirdre and felt like they became instant friends. This was simply the best way to tour the Emerald Isle!!

Mussenden Temple is one of the most iconic buildings in Northern Ireland, and is situated within the grounds of Downhill Demesne, a once magnificent manor house owned by the Earl Bishop of Derry, Frederick Hervey. The site is always open, but please see our National Trust website for details of when the facilities are open.
Lovely walks up to Mussenden and round walled garden great views of Benone and over the Foyle to Donegal fuelled by Al’s Coffee best on the coast

If your trip brings you to Derry-Londonderry on the train, you can take a short walk to the roundabout then go down the stairs toward to cross the Peace Bridge. If you arrive on the bus, the bridge is just across from the station. No matter the weather, you should take this walk! Gently arching across the river Foyle, you’ll have beautiful views of the walled city and surrounding hills. A must do on your trip to Derry-Londonderry!

Miles of golden sand cared for by National Trust. The magnificent two-mile strand of glistening golden sand is one of Northern Ireland's finest and most popular beaches with all ages. Portstewart Strand holds the prestigious Blue Flag award for the management, cleanliness and quality of water and it is also one of the few remaining beaches in Ireland where cars still have access and permission to drive onto the beach. Vehicle access is free to National Trust members. Parking fee applies to non-members. Walking entry open all year.
We arrived early to walk this route as we were warned it can get busy. Thankfully it was a lovely day. The route is well sign posted and we used the audio guide which is very easy to use. Some of the info about the first guides and the hotels etc is interesting. This is at the end of the audio recording so don't miss it. Fantastic views and they have different routes geared to easy to difficult. Great walk, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
