We visited the lighthouse on a coach trip to the national park. The views from the lighthouse of the Mediterranean were spectacular. We noticed when we were there that it is part of E.U. dark sky's project in the summer months. We would like to go back and see the stars.

Very colourful and interesting. Plenty of information available on the subject. Helps if you read Spanish though with regard to detail.

Almeria is a cute town and i really enjoyed staying there. the main street has got great shopping, the promenade pass the port is lovely to walk along or have coffee, its easy to walk around, their is tourist (kiddy) train off the main street, that adults can also take which will bring you all around the city so you can get your bearings on the first day. the streets are lovely for walking, i would recommend you take a dictionary app on your phone as its very spanish.. have fun

Me and my wife loved go to the Plaza as it is unspoiled and we'll maintained, great place for a coffee and chill. On Saturday it is market day and we would be happy buy all are vegetables for the week straight from the farmers, very cheap and very fresh, best to go a little later in afternoon say 2 pm on for real bargains as farmers do not want to take vegetables home, great fun.

It was a experience. The act was a native Spaniard. (Obviously! We're in Spain for goodness sake!) So all the songs where played out in some type of play. We REALLY enjoyed it. It wasn't what we expected, but It was gòod. We all had a good old sing along. We took a cool bag with drinks snacks and a cushion so sit on the stone steps ( highly recommended.. I think, I see you could hire one if not?) There was a bar if you don't want to take your own drinks. Over all good night out with friends and family.
