We are a small-batch, independent, family-run and family-owned brewery, concerned with making premium quality beer.
Here's a true microbrewery that isn't secretly owned by the big blah brewing companies. Family owned and operated with some of the best craft beer I've ever tasted...they know their beers and usually create some new flavours for the sipping public. Here's a test take a sip of any Rurban beer, then take a sip of your typical mass merchandised brand...you will never drink your old brand again.Sure it does cost a bit more, but if you drink beer for it's taste then you will truly appreciate Rurban

It was a great time and well thought out escape room experience. Our group had some experienced and some first timers and we all enjoyed it. Great for teenagers up to adults as we had a mixed group of family and friends. We escaped with only 15 seconds left but would have enjoyed it either way.

Centrally located on Cornwall's waterfront in an expansive public park, our relocated three level 1840's Loyalist farm house is an ideal venue for experiencing guided visits of Cornwall area history. During the summer months, the City's Visitor Centre also operates inside our building.
Nestled in the heart of the always beautiful Lamoureux Park - Take a stroll through the park and stop by this fantastic community museum featuring some great exhibits. See how locals of the past lived. VERY knowledgeable curator who showed us around. A true passion him, as he travels far and wide, from church basements to old home's attics to bring you some fantastic artifacts.

At Ontario Power Generation (OPG), our Information Centres are an integral part of our generating sites and as a precautionary measure, we have made the decision to temporarily close the Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre and its programming and meetings effective Friday, March 13, 2020. OPG is closely monitoring the World Health Organization, Health Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Health for updates regarding the status of the COVID-19 virus and will continue to update and adjust our continuity plans as the situation evolves. At the moment, the threat to OPG’s operations and assets is low. As the province’s largest clean power generator, with operations across Ontario, the health and safety of our employees and the public is of utmost importance to OPG. At the same time, we have a responsibility to generate reliable electricity, around-the-clock. We have robust continuity plans in place to ensure our stations continue to run safely and continue to produce power for the province.
Recommend fully for history and engineering buffs and those of us who simply enjoy seeing how we can create amazing projects.

*The Historic SDG Jail is CLOSED for the 2019 season* Built in 1833/34, the jail operated until 2002 when the Ministry of Correctional Services closed the facility in favour of newer, larger facilities in major cities. The building houses the second oldest jail in Ontario and the fifth oldest court house. The cell blocks, common areas, exercise yard and visitation area have been maintained as they were when they were populated by inmates sentenced to jail time. Step right into a cell to experience life behind bars - at least for a few moments. There are stories of prison life from the point of view of the guards as well as the inmates. You'll also learn about escapes, and we have many ghost stories to share. Jail tours are now closed for the season, but if you wish to book a group visit or other experience please contact us. Please see our Facebook page for further details.
We decided to try the tour, despite having some knowledge of the site, and we're so glad we did. Tip for locals....get a 'free' pass from your local library! They are not in demand, and you can cover the cost for 2 adults and 3 kids for free! Tours started on the hour, and our tour took about an hour to get through the courtroom and the different aspects of the jail. As others have attested to, the tour guide did an excellent job of explaining all of the stops along the way. Definitely worth spending an hour to explore and learn about capital punishment in Canada....and local lore.
