It was a bit confusing with my booking due to the miscommunication between the operator posting this tour and the operator actually providing the tour (they were different!). But I managed to sort it out by messaging and a phone call. Despite the drama in the beginning, it was fun! They provide you with everything you need and teach you how to "climb" the ice. For a person spending the most time at sea level and not used to rock climbing, this was very challenging for me. But I had a blast! I will come back to have more! Ice climbing is at 4900 meters above the sea level, so take it easy to avoid altitude sickness.

We recently visited LaPaz in Bolivia as part of a family tour of South America. I booked a private guide ( David Paco ) to take us to the main attractions in La Paz. David is a great tour guide who provided a full day tour, visiting the main Parliament square, the Bolivian Museum, the KiliKili View point, The Valle De La Luna and a ride on the cable cars that traverse the city. As we don’t speak Spanish, I wanted someone that could take care of the tour for me. David speaks great English and always took the time to talk about the political history of the country as well as the struggles of the indigenous people. We finished the day at the Witches Market and I can honestly say the day exceeded my expectations. la Paz is a fascinating city. If your thinking of visiting La Paz, I would highly recommend David as a tour guide.

Last spring (2019) I spent over a month travelling through Bolivia and Peru. For four of those days I had the pleasure of travelling with Addventure, from La Paz to, and around, Lake Titicaca. Although a short part of my trip it was absolutely one of the most memorable, and this was due to the service that Addventure delivered. Inti and Nico, my guides over those few days, brought endless energy and knowledge to the table. They went above and beyond to answer questions, have engaging conversations, ensure comfort, and just generally have a great time! Inti and Nico were clearly passionate about their profession and showing off the beauty of Bolivia :) The world is experiencing unprecedented times with the coronavirus pandemic - but when we are once again able to travel and enjoy other countries and cultures, I highly recommend using Addventures services to explore Bolivia!!
