Visiting this museum will bring back good memories for the oder generation while showing the younger ones what it was like 'in the day'. Interesting exhibits, hands on stuff, and a well presented display make this unique museum well worth a visit when you are in town.

I play this course 1-2 month and find it enjoyable. A few elevation changes help to make it interesting. Easy access off I96 makes it convenient. Course is usually in pretty good shape. Nice course for weekend golfer.

Tons of brew pubs in Grand Rapids area. This one is about 15 minutes away from GR and the staff was really nice. Good beer and the pub had a nice vibe. Like how they hints at the personality of their beer with fonts (see picture).

You don't get to see that much from the train. You go through some farmland, and then basically go back. The lure for this attraction is the opportunity to ride on a historical railroad. They do offer special events. Warning, no air conditioning, so be prepared to get a little warm in the summer. There are some old engines and cars parked on siding you can look at also.

Buth Dairy Farm Store is a gem. Not 5 minutes off the beaten path, this dairy farm has a small storefront that sells fresh cheese made from the cows they raise. If you're passing along I-96 between Muskegon and Grand Rapids, this is a great stop. We've started a family tradition of stopping here in the summer, on Saturdays for a bowl of the best ice cream I've ever had. They also sell it by the half gallon. We load up on their cheeses as well. Gouda, Swiss, Curds, Pepper Jack, Cheddar, etc. They seem to have a new flavor each time I'm there. Walk around their beautifully painted buildings and see their cows.

Anyone may sign in to perform a song or visitors may sit back and enjoy the variety. $4 admission. Every August and September over 100 quilts are displayed throughout the 12,000 square foot facility for an exhibit called "Quilts and Their Stories." Admission $4 Open year round. July, August, September Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am - 4pm. October through June hours are Tuesday and Thursday 10am-2pm and Saturday 10am-1pm. For quite some time I have wanted to take my parents to this museum but it never happened until last weekend. I am glad we finally made it. This museum is not as glitzy as a high budget museum but it serves it purpose well. My mom found the museum especially interesting since she could so easily relate to the exhibits. My Dad also enjoyed seeing the variety of equipment and tools on display. I admit, my teenage daughters quickly lost interest. They have not had much exposure to farming so they struggled to find interest in the exhibits. Oh well, that is their loss.
The museum only costs $4 to get in. If you are in the area, how can you go wrong at that price? The facility can be rented for events. The day we were there, they had tables set up for a wedding reception. Everything is on ground level so have no fear if you use a wheelchair, walker, or just are not as good with steps as you once were. Benches are available if you need a break midway during your visit.

Played Evergreen Golf Course when I was in the Grand Haven area. It is a 18-hole, par-60 course. No par-5s and 6 par-4s, all the rest are par-3s. Course has 3 sets of tees and they measures 3,430, 3,016 and 2,497-yards. Course was in OK condition. Price was very fair and it was fun to play. Worth playing to work on short game.

On August 21, 2015 my boyfriend surprised me with a horse and carriage ride downtown Grand Rapids, MI for our 1 year anniversary.
I love horse and carriage rides and I love romantic, surprising, thoughtful gestures. He did a great job.
Our driver was Tracy and the horse was named Dixie. Tracy was very nice, and Dixie has quite the personality. I loved how she would start neighing as if she was trying to give her opinion on our conversations. She kept me laughing.
It was a beautiful romantic scenic ride around the downtown area. It is also a great way to see where a lot of the attractions and restaurants are located that downtown has to offer.
They provide rides all year round, are reasonably priced, available for weddings/special occasions, and they are conveniently located on the corner of Monroe in front of PNC bank.
I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely utilize their services again.
