We saw the fog lifting from the mouth of the Susquehanna River and decided to head down to Council Rock Park to check it out after buying coffee and pastry at Schneider's Bakery - fantastic, peaceful place to enjoy the early morning!

There's something for everyone at Glimmerglass S.P- two hiking trails, swimming and boating, and the oldest covered bridge in NY state. Beautiful and peaceful, especially after summer. Also be sure to visit Hyde Hall while you're here!

Beautiful Community Park on the shore of Lake Otsego. Park benches available to enjoy the views. Adjacent marina makes for great photo ops. We visited midday and there were yoga instructors providing classes. Very relaxing just to sit and enjoy the view of the lake.
