Popped in to pass away an hour during a rainy day in Llandudno. Great little place with lots of period items and artwork to help bring the Home Front reality alive. Especially touching was a genuine letter written by an evacuee child to their mother during their separation. Well worth a visit.

Conwy Mussels Co.

These mussels are the best I've ever eaten! They are big, juicy and tasty. At £6 for 2kg they're good value too. I cooked them with bacon, white wine, garlic, parsley and double cream. Delicious!

Aberconwy House

Great 600 years+ of history in this small building, brought to life by a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide called Holly. It doesn't take long to walk around the 2 floors above the shop, approx 40 mins. There are obviously 2 flights of stairs to negotiate if you have any disabilities. Holly also recommended a local cafe called The Old Bookshop which was really lovely.

Llandudno Chocolate Experience

Eat Chocolate and explore its history. Journey through 5000 years of history on a very chocolatey journey. From the jungles of Maya, to the golden age of British chocolate. There are samples to eat as you go round, interesting information and activities for the children. Our Memory Lane section also boasts hundreds of chocolate wrappers, tins and boxes from the last few decades.

Visited here on the first day on my holiday in Llandudno initially to book a place but upon arrival was delighted to be able to go straight in! The lady who was on the desk was very welcoming and was informative also. I found the experience a lot more interesting than I thought it would be, was great to learn so much about chocolate! The samples given for the tour made it that extra special. My only negative point would be that before the tour starts, they tell you that there are signs which tells you when to eat the chocolate but these weren’t always very noticeable (maybe it was just me). Would highly recommended to anyone visiting Llandudno and have done so to the owners of the hotel where I was staying!
