Vancouver was founded as “Gastown” by an Englishman with a penchant for beer and storytelling. Today Gastown is a historic section of the Canadian metropolis, and the lively pubs still reflect the area’s former status as a sort of community drinking center. The city’s forests, grand parks, and impressive suspension bridge beckon travelers to explore them, as do the city’s shops and museums. Relive the glory of the 2010 Winter Games with visits to Olympic venues and the marvelous Olympic Cauldron.

Vancouver's Premiere Art Gallery and Gift Store. ARTS OFF MAIN, offers a great selection of well-priced fine art, gifts, and cards, all created by local artists. Situated in Vancouver's vibrant Commercial Drive neighbourhood, AOM is owned and operated by nine artists who are all passionate about the city they live in. From small gifts to large paintings, we have it all.
So this little coop gallery is amazing! Perfect for gifts for that hard to get someone. Or if you want to bring a truly beautiful souvenir home, from your Vancouver travels, this is the place. So many beautiful paintings of this cool City on the walls, at shockingly low prices. The artists in residence run the joint, so this is supporting art at it's core. They are local and they are talented.

Vancouver's nerdiest restaurant! Like a sports bar for geeks, we stock a wide range of board and card games to play, play sci-fi on our big TV round the clock, and are host to an extensive array of fantasy memorabilia. Come on down for our delicious pub fare, sample our tasty BC microbrews, try our unique cocktails and random d20 shots, or prostrate yourself at our giant Cthulhu shrine.
Fun drinks and good environment. Selin made our night! We had lots of fun with the dice. And food was good.

A culturally rich and authentic neighbourhood, Commercial Drive - also known as "The Drive "- is one of the best and most colourful shopping, dining and nightlife districts you will find in Vancouver; and boasts home to eight blocks of officially designated Little Italy, representing more than 60 years of Italian heritage. Day or evening, The Drive offers 22 full blocks to explore with over 300 distinct merchants, including quaint boutiques, an eclectic collection of restaurants, a vibrant live music, lounge, pub, and bar scene, dinner and dancing, theaters, coffee houses, specialty food stores and bakeries. Vancouver's one of a kind experience. Welcome to The Drive.
When visiting Vancouver you must enjoy a fine Italian Restaurant, and experience Little Italy on Commercial Drive on the East side of Vancouver. Well worth it!

I should know...they are designing my wedding bands for me! I passed by the store numerous times over the years and eventually popped in one xmas and bought myself a very cool ring. I was so impressed that i decided that the husband and wife owners should design my wedding rings for me and my partner. Super creative, young and talented....they sell their own wares and well as from others. Great assortment of gems (many hard to come by).
