Colorado is home to no less than twenty-six ski resorts such as those in Vail and Breckenridge; other winter activities include snowboarding, sledding, sleigh rides, snow hiking and snowmobiling. The state is blessed with national parks, grasslands and forests where in warmer weather you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. Wildlife abounds, from bears to moose and raccoons to wolverines. More interested in local history? Head for either the Ute Indian Museum or the Koshare Indian Museum, and don't miss the forts such as Fort Garland and Bent's Old Fort. For a complete change, why not take a ride in a hot air balloon from South Park Valley or Boulder and admire Colorado's picturesque landscape from above?

This was our first time to try snowshoeing. It was a blast! The scenery was spectacular. Skyler was our tour guide. He possess in-depth knowledge on nature and the environment and shared his experience and expertise throughout the tour. We highly recommend snowshoeing! Being avid skiers for over 40 years, this was a truly unique and fun experience.

Colorado Ballet is a non-profit organization celebrating 55 years of presenting world-class classical ballet and contemporary dance in Denver. Colorado Ballet enhances the cultural life of Colorado through performances of the professional company, training at the Academy, and Education & Outreach programs.
I just wanted to thank the dancers and staff of Colorado Ballet for the recent Tour de Force performance. My wife and I have been subscribers for a few years now and love Colorado Ballet. I was especially moved by the recent Tour de Force performance. It was beautiful and magical. The music, choreography and especially the dancers came together to make this one of my most memorable Ballet experiences ever! Christophor Moulton and Chandra Kuykendall partner so very well. Their first dance together literally took my breath away, but that was not the only stand-out dance. The entire performance just kept delivering! I truly wish I could see it again.

Visitors can tour this modern sprawling campus that includes the Academy, Falcon Stadium, a chapel and Arnold Hall, a museum honoring Air Force personnel.
The historic United States Air Force Academy has so many things to offer, it really does need to be at the top of "to visit" list. *Hiking / mountain biking *Historical driving tour *Planetarium *Amazing Cemetery *Historic buildings These pictures are of the Cadet Chapel and Arnold Hall at night. The red tips on the Chapel are from a bonfire below in the courtyard. This was a rare night where 500 drones were used to make different designs in the sky.

As a campus, its pretty. Facilities are new--and they are buliding more. And its location can't be beat; with its own light rail station you can get to the airport and downtown denver without a car. What DU could do a better job of is making it clear to all students (grad and undergrad) what it stands for. Other urban universities do (NYU, USC, GWU)-- but DU's culture seems to be one of do your own thing...and have fun in Denver doing it.
