We were staying at Korora Beach just a bit further north. The beach is full of pebbles and rocks. We happened to fine Diggers Beach which is just lovely. Great white sand, plenty of room for everyone and a nice little wave. There is a couple of lookouts so that the surfers and check out the surf, plenty of parking, nice picnic facilities as well as a modern amenities block.

Coffs Harbour Beach

The surf beach is very flat and so the water is easily accessible. Just around the corner the river enters the sea and so there is a variety of swimming options. Great for young families too.

Bongil Bongil National Park

Reviewed By 993anitat - Forster, Australia

Even though there was a total fire ban in place we were still able to drive in and visit the Bongil Bongil National Park. There are magnificent stands of eucalypts throughout the park some of which were planted over 50 years ago. The picnic area is just fabulous. It is really hard to photograph the huge stands of trees as they are so tall and incredibly straight. There is a walking come cycle track which leaves from the picnic area and there is a pontoon which is on Bonville Creek which allows you to put a kayak or canoe into the creek.

Park Beach

Reviewed By 654adamw - Sydney, Australia

We were up in Coffs over New Years and went to Park Beach 2/1... we got there early and got a nice spot between the flags... my 2 year old son loved collecting rocks and running from the waves... we took a quick stroll down to the creek inlet where he loved sitting in the water and playing. This is a really nice beach.
