Located on Florida's Space Coast, Cocoa Beach offers a sunny shoreline with activities such as parasailing, casino cruises and the Brevard Zoo. It's the closest beach to Orlando, so you can enjoy Orlando's attractions and also get to relax on the coast of Florida. Port Canaveral , the state's fastest growing port, is a popular departure point for Caribbean cruises.

We used to visit here a lot but then haven’t been for about 10 years. It’s a great place to park but it fills very quickly this visit we were about to leave and found a space. There are picnic tables, children’s play areas, rest rooms and beach access.

Went to Robert P. Murkshe Memorial Park for the first time today. Met two friends from Orlando there, and had the best time. Restrooms were clean, had a nice outdoor shower which is always a plus, and the beach was clean and beautiful. No lifeguard on duty (Monday), so maybe just weekends. Sign did say "No Fishing", but one man was fishing from the shore. He wasn't in anyone's way, but just odd he did that when the sign clearly says "No Fishing". Great beach to take a family, and has 24 parking spots, with handicap available. Must turn left down 16th Street from A1A heading South. Two thumbs up from me! Enjoy!
