A walk in art and craft studio. Choose a project - paint pottery, make jewelry, paint on canvas, fuse glass, do mosaics and more! Something for everyone.
I've visited the Studio for Art & Craft probably close to a 100 times over the years. I've taken their Paint and Sip classes, their pottery wheel 6wk class, and am actually taking a glass fusing class tonite. My son held an elementary school birthday party here, and I've also sent him to some of their camp programs over the years! This place is fabulous! The staff is professional, knowledgeable and attentive. They offer a wide range of activities for pretty much any artsy-craftsy type project, and I cannot express how much kids LOOOOOVE their programs!!! I'll be back here 100 more times, I'm sure!! Fabulous place with fabulous staff! Great addition to Main St, Cobleskill.

The Tagua Nut Gift Shop & Café is a gift shop that buys Fair Traded products from Artisans in many different countries. Most products come from the Andes & Coastal Regions of Ecuador. We also feature products crafted by our very own Local Artisans in and around Schoharie County. We expanded the gift shop into a coffee & deli café in December of 2015. We are now serving breakfast sandwiches & lunch menu items! We offer "all natural" deli meat sandwiches, vegetable paninis, fresh bakery items, soups & sides. We continue to be the "go to" place for all your gift-giving needs. Stop by & check out our wide assortment of Alpaca blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, ponchos and socks! We also serve Dean's Beans Organic & Fair Traded Whole Bean coffee. Coffee is available for purchase & can be ground FRESH for you! Join us for lunch!
The food and coffee were delicious and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming! I went for lunch and the the homemade mushroom soup was amazing! The gift shop was wonderful if you are looking for some unique gifts. The owners sell “direct trade” clothing and jewelry handcrafted by artisans from Ecuador, South America. I shopped for myself and did some Christmas shopping too!

There's a well-known spot down the road from here that you may have heard of, but if you go there instead, you're missing the forest through the trees brother. Think of that spot as like, Target. Yeah it's big, it's well know, they got frills and parade out all the gimmicks, but are you getting quality products? This spot here, this is your boutique shop. This is you quality product curated by the experts. What's great about this cavern is that one can get some pretty dope pics down there, touch the various formations, and really take their time with all that there is to see. It's a very chill environment. The hosts are mad cool, they know their history (or maybe I fell for it) and seem to enjoy showing off the goods. The waterfall at the end of the cavern is a great climax to the tour. The gift shop also has a wide variety of knickknacks and gimmicks, along with coffee, which one might need after a lengthy drive to this place from (possibly) a ways away.
