This is the family home of Fred and Addie Drummond. This is Ree Drummond's (Pioneer Woman, author of cookbooks, children's and other books, she has a TV show) husbands family home. It was built in 1905's Victorian style. Fred Drummond was very successful rancher and trader. The house was deeded to the Oklahoma Historical Society in 1980 and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The tour guide was very warm and knowledgeable. I would recommend it to any history buff.

We stayed here for one night on a cross country road trip. We like to stay at state or national parks if possible and this one didn't disappoint. Overall a nice park. Dog friendly. Nice area. Our only issue is that when we arrived there is no sign at the beginning saying there is camping so we took a chance and got lucky. We also almost missed it because at night the sign isn't lit up. Could use better signage.

This is an American icon! The tours of the house, walking the grounds, driving through the buffalo pen, the Wild West show during the summer, and awesome photo opportunities are a few of the awesome things about this place! I even took my senior pictures here because I love the rock work throughout the property.
The wild west show is a must see during the summer, plus they do tours that are themed during Christmas!

Located just 25 minutes from downtown Tulsa, CrossTimbers Marina on Skiatook Lake is the area's preferred choice for quality, convenience, and fun. The lake's water quality is unequaled in NE Oklahoma, and its 168 miles of unspoiled shoreline and over 10,000 acres of water are yours to explore.
We rented a pontoon and tubes to go out on Lake Skiatook for our son's Birthday. We had an awesome time. We also brought our lab and she enjoyed jumping in the lake and hanging out on the pontoon. The kids loved tubing. It was a great day spent at the lake. They also have cabins and a restaurant. We did not use either of these but they did look nice. We have stayed at other cabins on this lake in the past but wasn't impressed with those, next time we will try Cross Timbers cabins, they looked nicer.

Wife and I shopped at the Mercantile after breakfast. Made sense that the shoppers were made up of 90% women and 10% men since most all the items for sale were kitchen and cooking related. Makes sense, but would have been nice to have a few things guys might like to purchase, like ranch and horse rustic deco stuff. Lots of people, but managed to get around with not too much difficulty. Did not purchase anything, but they did have some unique items that you might not see at your hometown stores.

Tidewater Winery purchased the Tidal School Winery in April, 2014. New and old have come together to present new wines in the old historic Tidal School. Still available for event venues, meetings, weddings, tastings and tours.
We visited the Tidewater Winery during their first Wine Fest. It was a reasonable fee to attend to taste wine from all the different wineries present, which was four or five. There were also several unique vendors, ones we particularly enjoyed was the one with homemade jellies and salsas and one who crafted jewelry from guitar strings, along with a food truck on site. We saved the visit to the Tidewater tasting for last, which was in their gift shop inside their historic building. We had tried one of their wines previously and was so impressed, we made the trip to Drumright. We sampled and purchased several of their varieties. It was a fun day and hopefully, the Wine Fest will be an annual event.

The Pawnee Bathhouse, a depression-era complex was created by the WPA in the 1930s. There us a series of stone terraces leading from the balconied stone bathhouse to a natural swimming pool and sandy beach, near the Pawnee City Lake. It provides a beautiful setting for picnics and just sight-seeing. It is also a good spot for viewing bald eagles in the winter months.

The world's largest collection of art from the American West is housed at this museum, which is also well stocked with Native American artifacts and artwork. Thematic gardens reflect the gardening styles of different time periods.
Gilcrease is an excellent museum with an amazing collection of Native American works. The grounds are very special as well. We admired objects of art for over two hours and could easily have stayed longer.
