The Tiger's baseball stadium is top notch.Grounds are always in great shape. Stadium and facilities are always clean. There is an area on the third base side where kids play in the grass. Fun to watch. Parking is ample and plenty of space for tailgating. There is hardly a bad seat in the stadium. Having said that, seats on the third base line can be pretty toasty on hot summer days. The $2.00 hotdogs and $2.00 water can't be beat. It is nice to know you can get something to eat without breaking the bank.

The South Carolina Botanical Garden is a diverse 295 acres of natural landscapes, display gardens, and miles of streams and nature trails. The SCBG is an official American Hosta Society Display Garden. It has a butterfly garden, a wildflower meadow, many specialty gardens, and a 70-acre arboretum. The Gift Shop and Visitor's Center are open from 10:00 - 5:00 seven days a week (excluding University holidays) and the Garden itself is open from sunrise to sunset.
I love this place because it has beautiful nature things to look at. I love how you get to walk by the pretty flowers.

We loved the fossils and were very impressed by the museum, given it looks so small from the outside. There is a lot to look at! You could easily spend a bit of time here learning about fossils and minerals discovered locally in South Carolina and the rest of the world. The fluorescent room was great and also the opportunity to see (in real-time) work being done excavating fossils in the small side room.
