The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

The owner/proprietor of the shop is very friendly and accommodating. If you have a silver jewellery that needs cleaning, resizing, modified or fixing, you can describe to him how you want the outcome to be and he is proactive and helpful in discussing the services that you need. When the service for your jewellery has been done, he asks you whether you are satisfied with the outcome. Apart from this service, the shop also offers ready to wear brand new jewellery and some of them are his designs which are unique and great. The shop also sells loose gemstones that you can buy on its own or ask him to set in a type of jewellery you prefer. I personally bought a unique loose gemstone which he also set in a pendant and a couple of ready to wear jewellery that I asked him to modify so I can use it as an add on to another jewellery I owned to come up with a unique pendant as I sometimes reconstruct some of my old jewellery.

We purchased an engagement ring from city of London jewellers which was made to my specifications . It was a pleasure to deal with them, the gentleman was lovely and not forceful on selling and offered advice on what I was looking for. The gentleman offered recommendations for my wedding ring also. The finished ring was amazing and fitted perfectly with the wedding ring that we also bought from them. Many thanks to Peter, we will definitely be back for any further purchases. I cannot wait to show it off, and we will be recommending them to all our friends.

Pre-booking required. Visit guildhall-art-gallery.arttickets.org.uk. The Gallery shows a changing display of about 250 artworks from its collection of paintings, drawings and sculpture, in addition to a programme of temporary exhibitions. The Gallery is also responsible for significant works of art held elsewhere including the monuments in the Guildhall, statues in the Old Bailey and further sculptures and the Harold Samuel Collection of 17th Century Dutch and Flemish Paintings at Mansion House, the Lord Mayor's residence. A rich variety of Victorian paintings can be seen as you enter the Gallery, displayed in original 19th century style. The collections illustrate the key artistic movements and influences of the Victorian period, from the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, to Orientalism, Classicism and narrative painting. The Gallery's collection of London paintings opens a window onto unusual, memorable and colourful scenes from the city's history.
To be frank I rarely write reviews of anything in London since I live here and keep my reviews for my travels, However, in this peculiar year my travels are restricted to London so it seems reasonable to write reviews. I regularly visit the Guildhall Gallery and had wanted to see the temporary exhibition before lockdown. So I am pleased to see it now. Limited opening. Book on-line. Controlled numbers. Toilets. Hand sanitizer. Very nice temporary exhibition-Enchanted Interiors. Limited part opening of the permanent galleries. You can see many of the great Victorian paintings but the many of London not yet back. Go again.

We came here to see the view from the rooftop. It was beautiful and gave us an amazing glimpse of St. Paul’s Cathedral.

I have lived and worked in London all my life. I am familiar with this part of London but just did not realize what was beneath my feet all the time. So this place is just a no.1 experience, you will remember this place I promise. Open to the general public there are maybe fifty vaults all with silver merchants selling a very extensive range of silverware. The downstairs entrance has the most fantastic looking original safe door which is maybe three feet thick. At first we felt intimidated as believed this would be way beyond our budget, which mostly it is. However the proprietors of each 'shop' were surprisingly friendly and easy to chat to. A visit is a real experience you will tell your friends about for a long time

Outstanding tea shop where you can taste before you buy. Great selection of teas that are definitely worth a try. Some you cannot buy in Australia. Great service.

Leadenhall is a thriving Victorian covered retail centre with a wide range of goods on sale. Its cobbled walkways and glass roof make it an attractive place to shop, eat and drink or simply to relax. Famous visitors include John Wayne, Clint Eastwood and Harry Potter.
The next stage of the Harry Potter tour in London takes us to the iconic St Paul's cathedral in the heart of the city, over here Harry Potter flyed over the London and Millennium bridges mounted on his broom chased by the Death Eaters, it is amazing to cross the Millennium Bridge and enjoy its swing as if it were a suspension bridge, a little further is the Leadenhal market, spectacular icon of the old market nestled in the modern city, this Victorian market houses a series of stalls, shops and restaurants that seem anchored in time, one does not get tired of walking through its cobbled streets, in it, scenes of the philosopher's stone were shot, and you can even recognize the blue door that appears in the scene of the dripping cauldron, you can still see the hooks where the animals for sale hung that gave a characteristic smell and flavor to the market

We visited the royal exchange today in order to experience the atmosphere and have some afternoon tea if there was space available. With no reservation we thought we’d try our luck and fortunately there were still some seats to fill. Thanks to an excellent waiting staff the entire experience was pure joy (of course the quality of the afternoon tea itself also helped!). The complimentary glasses of champagne were totally unexpected and very welcome and with the staff on point it was an experience to savour!
