Australia's largest exhibition centre and home of Rosie the Shark, gemstones, fossils, crystals, jewelry, lunar and space meteorites, the oldest rocks in the world and a Dinosaur Garden for the kids. Wholesale and retail sales.
There is something for everyone at Crystal World. Whether you are looking for exquisite jewellery, amazing gems for ornamental display, rare and unusual fossils and meteorite pieces both on display and for sale or the chance to rimmage around and find some incredibly beautiful examples of amazing rocks and geological samples from the dozens and dozens of well labelled and sorted storage containers spread throughout the property, you are sure to have a great time. Iif you read the information sheets for the various types of rocks and gems etc you will learn a lot about how these beautiful gems are formed, where they are found in the world and you can probably take a piece home for a very reasonable price. We spent a very enjoyable 2 hours here and found it fascinating. The staff were very helpful and were happy to answer any questions we had. Entry is free, parking is free and there is something to keep just about everyone interested - If you have kids aged 5 and upwards, you may even ignite a passion and fascination for geology in them - who knows?

Burnbank 1854 is the former home of Edwin Flack, Australia's first Olympic gold medal winner. The 6.5 acre property has a parklike garden with the surrounding locality being picturesque, quiet and ambient. The accommodation is 4 suites with queen beds and donnas, with adjoining ensuites with spa, bath or shower and includes personal care items and gowns for lounging, tea and coffee making in room and also in the dining room. Breakfast is complimentary. In room TV CD Microwave. Spa day spa services may be arranged on booking. Dogs can be accommodated on request accompanied by their owner.
From the moment you see the entrance to this wonderful historic house you just know you are going in for a treat. The gardens and house are spectacular. My husband and I spent a night in the autum room with our pet parrot, who like us was made extremely welcome. I found the owners to be friendly, helpful and very hard working just to ensure their guests had a first class experience. The bed was comfy, plenty of tea and coffee available in the room. I was also delighted to find not only a hair dryer in the room but also hair straighteners. They have thought of everything. During my swim in the pool, I met Marlu the family dog and just as friendly as the rest of the family. I cannot express how highly I recommend Burnbank Retreat but if you need to destress, relax and rejuvenate then this is the place to be.
