We did 5 days of private class at Me Gusta to refresh our Spanish. We really learned a lot in those 5 days! Both our teachers Annie and Mariano were great, they adjusted the classes to our level and gave us new input to improve our spanish. We also got great materials to practice at home. The only negative thing was that there was no coffee :) We would definitely recommend this school!

Brought to you by La Boca del Sapo a unique Bolivian cooking class with cocktail making experience in the heart of the beautiful white city of Sucre. Bolivia is fast becoming a gastronomic hot-spot with its abundance of local Bolivian dishes and their distinct flavours which sets it apart from the rest of the world. At La Boca del Sapo we are passionate about the Bolivian food scene and want to share our passion for Bolivian food with like minded travellers. Through our interactive cooking classes travellers not only gain the skills to recreate a traditional Bolivian dish for friends and family at home, they get to know the local ingredients and the their significance to the Bolivian people. At La Boca del Sapo we believe that culture and tradition is at the heart of Bolivian food. Our concept is that you not only enjoy cooking and eating the delicious food we make, but through food you learn more about Bolivan culture and traditions, whilst making new friends!
Moi is a wonderful teacher - patient, firm, professional, clear and obviously loves cooking and great food. The fact that he could adjust the dish to a gluten-free, vegetarian version was much appreciated, and having my husband come join in afterwards for dinner (at no extra cost) was particularly gracious of him. The facility is also great: spotlessly clean, very well-organised and top-notch appliances in the kitchen...this is professional from start to finish, and well worth the very reasonable price-tag. Highly recommended!

Experiencing Sucre and it's countryside on horseback! One of the must-sees in Sucre!
The ride together with Jhonny was amazing, the landscape really spectacular with an excellent view on the crater of maragua in the distance. Jhonny is a very kind guy and we had a great conversation 'en español' during the ride. And last but not least his horses are in a very good condition and really beautiful. I'll absolutely recommend this location if you want to spend some hours in the saddle, surrounded by beautiful nature.

This great plaza is centrally located amidst the historical buildings that constitute a capital of this fantastic country! It is extremely popular and occasionally throngs with people, almost to the point that one has seek an alternate path through. It is an excellent point of reference for directions, especially since I was overnighting at the close by Colors House Hostel. The sculptures/architecture reflect the storied history of beautiful Bolivia, as well as being magnets for contemporary civic discourse. If it’s happening & important, it’s likely that it’s attached to this important public space. There is always snacks & drinks available here, from kiosks or the seemingly always-present TIAs selling from park benches. I was quite pleased with them as last night (09MAR) there was a showing of “el Diablo del Mineros”, and I provided popcorn for all viewers because I was able to Gimprush to the plaza and buy several bags! It certainly gets my enthusiastic “iWheel of Approval!”

CondorTrekkers is a non-profit organisation working to break the cycle of poverty in one of the world's poorest country. We offer tours of Sucre's historic colonial centre and treks into the spectacular mountain ranges surrounding the city. All proceeds support development projects in the countryside where we hike as well as within Sucre. These projects provide food and accommodation as well as recreation, education and health services to local children and communities in need.
