EVERY TUESDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AT 9PM! ROR Comedy is Japan's only dedicated English-language stand up comedy club, and has consistently been rated Osaka's number one entertainment choice. Boasting an international line-up of award-winning comedians, ROR Comedy Club has been serving comedic slice of Japanese life to visitors and expats alike since 2011.
Open mic night was amazing, the guys' acts were hilarious despite this night being somewhat of a testing ground for new jokes. At ¥500 a head this is more than worth it. Highly highly recommend for English speakers looking for an hour and a bit of great laughs in a wonderful environment.

A cozy little shelter, "Bar Nayuta", is located at, just in front of America Mura (Shinsaibashi)'s most famous spot, Triangle Park (Sankaku Koen). Come and spend a night in Osaka with us. We're looking forward to drinking with you.
I cannot begin to describe how amazing this bar is. I came here in January of 2019 and have thought about my experience at least every other day. The memory is a source of great comfort. If I had one reason to return to Osaka, it would be to have drinks here. I’ve been fascinated with the speakeasy concept for some time and have visited quite a few in New York and Long Island. The entrance to this speakeasy is unmarked except for a symbol in the elevator. When I first went with my wife, we couldn’t find the door until we had more time to reflect ????. The bar is beautifully designed and has a distinct gothic aesthetic. The lights are low, with most seats at the long bar with a few tables and chairs along the back. The first draw to this bar is the promise of custom cocktails, and it delivers. I was able to try 6-8 creations, some being classic or obscure cocktails with liquor more to my taste. All were different and offered a new experience. My bartender was extremely attentive to all the guests and is probably the best cocktail “shaker” I’ve seen. We made time in our full schedule to go back to the bar two times or three times. Our last time, our bartender had a shot of Fernet Branca with us to thank us for our patronage and gave me his business card which I still have today. If your main reason for visiting Japan is to make unforgettable cherished memories, you must make time for this. We did not even take photos at the bar in order to fully experience the moment. This bar does cater almost exclusively to foreigners meaning the staff speak English very well and are very accommodating. Most guests were well-behaved and the bartender was genuinely curious about other cultures or what tourists saw and ate that day. Some of the guests did become a bit rowdy, but nothing too bad. Regardless, this bar was the first of our trip that highlighted Japan’s exquisite bartenders and bar scene.

Our family-run, professional photography studio has vintage kimonos and traditional Japanese costumes for you to admire and try. Match the intricate patterns of your chosen kimono with makeup colours and geisha-style hair accessories. (We can bring in a hair and makeup artist if you’d prefer.) And we’ve got other props, too: parasols, a katana, and more. Your personalised shoot will be led by an experienced fashion photographer. Our team knows Japanese and English, so if there’s anything you need please just ask. Same-day printing means you get your photos straight away, with digital copies to share with friends and family.
My wife and I booked a kimono photshot here and it was a totally great experience culminating in asome beautiful photos of the two of us as a Japan visit keepsake. Our photographer Sayaka was highly professional in positioning us a variety of poses and accessories (katana, fan, umbrella). She is very friendly and made us feel totally comfortable. She gives you the option of group shots as well as individual shots.. There are a variety of package photoshoots available. We chose the one hard copy photo with 5 digital copies sent to your e-mail which I received before I even left Japan aand add-on of having my wife's hair and makeup done. Sayaka uploads all of the photos and we all reviewed the photos to delete photos until we got down to the one we wanted to pint and the ones to be sent digitally. Hard choice as all the photos were great, Beautiful kinonos and poses andeit difficult to choose, If you want a different Japan experience highly recommend this place and Sayaka to do a kimono photoshoot. Very near the Namba train station makes it easy to get to. Highly recommend. for single, couple or family.

Impossible Co. Theatre is an award-winning, bilingual magic show held every Thursday in the heart of Osaka. What started as a small show named Magic Lab has now grown to be a weekly performance featuring some of the country's best sleight-of-hand artists.
My partner and I were at the show last night and loved every second! This was especially impressive as we’d had a stressful journey trying to find the venue, through an oversight of our own. We had used the company’s head office as our location to find, rather than the ROR comedy club in Namba where the show is held. The guys were really helpful when we messaged and clarified the location for us, even sending us another message closer to the show time to check if we needed any further help. I really appreciated this and it highlighted what a class act these guys are. I won’t go into too much detail on the show, not wanting to spoil anything, but we were treated to brilliant coin and card magic right in front of us. Lots of interaction, jokes and you also get a drink token if you book in advance. If you love magic we would highly recommend, and if you don’t love magic you will after this show!

Once the largest castle in Japan when originally built in the 1580s, this castle has an observation platform with city views and a history museum that uses holograms, 3D pictures and other technologies to describe the history of the castle and the period during which it was built.
A beautiful castle and magnificent testimony of history about the great city of Osaka. The castle is easily accessible with public transportation and covers a large area which includes a park around the castle with several amenities. The observatory on the top floor provides a beautiful view of the city and each floor shows you a moment of history and the role of the castle going back 300 years ago in Osaka. The castle takes you back in time and you will be able to see several exhibitions and when you stop on the second floor take a moment to wear a helmet and vest for a pictures as a samurai warrior. This is one visit you will remember forever so make sure to bring your camera and take pictures to share back home.

Formally the home of the wife of 16th-century Japanese ruler Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the 15-acre Nishinomaru Garden is one of Osaka's most beloved cherry blossom viewing spots, with the Osaka Castle Tower enhancing the backdrop.
Went during sakura season and the park was beautifully filled with beautiful cherry trees that were in bloom. Plenty of seating and grounds to have picnics on.
