The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

Looks like there's an increasing number of craft beer outlets in Singapore and this pretty small offering on the second floor of the Chinatown Complex (Smith Street end) is worth a visit. It's serving up Singapore-brewed beers, as opposed to some of the other ones, that either serve up a mixture of local and overseas brews, or just overseas brews. There were 11 on tap last week for between S$6.50 and S$9.00 for 500 ml. I had the English IPA and it was good - hoppy, some citrus and quite dry, The young bloke running the place is quite friendly, and the whole set up fits in well with the hawker market.

Tipple and Dram opened its doors in May 2018. This plush two-level bar occupies a quaint shop house! Injecting vim and vigor in this neighborhood teeming with great bars and restaurants what sets Tipple and Dram apart is that, guests can have unique and different experiences at one venue, in one evening! Tipple is the charming street level bar – an inviting space with both indoor and outdoor seating. Showcasing an über-selective wine menu, wide spectrum of spirits, craft beers on tap and de rigueur hand-crafted cocktails. Dram, occupies the basement of the shop house and lends a very plush feel with it's wooden decor, leather fittings, subdued lighting complimented by soft jazz music. It reflects understated elegance and leads into a dreamy world where guests and whisky connoisseurs get to sample extremely rare, limited-edition malts and unique bottlings available at distilleries only! Enjoy these with food pairings such as Bak Kwa and a great selection of cigars to choose from!

Great place to have some craft beer in Singapore. Great choice on tap and good staff As previous reviews have mentioned, it’s situated in a hawker centre, so an abundance of food offerings are right there also. Hawker Center makes for a good atmosphere also.

The Elephant Room is about bringing you ripples of Indian heritage through modern tipples and bites.
A well thought place that showcase the prowess of local indian culture of Singapore. The hospitality is excellent with bar tenders walking you down with histories and stories of every cocktail when u ordered. The cocktails are great when you paired with the food they served. A must go place when u hit the town!

Located at 10A Ann Siang Hill, Nutmeg & Clove is a cocktail bar that marries Singapore’s rich history with their cocktail offerings. Taking great pride in Singapore’s history and progression from colonial outpost to modern metropolis, Nutmeg & Clove reinterprets classic cocktails with a Singaporean inflection. With every sip, visitors will learn or re-visit different elements of Singapore.

We have a gay bar in Chicago called Sidetrack which I compare this to - everyone seems to end up here at some point in the night, it's got a number of different concepts together in one bar and a good mixed friendly crowd. Music was good too, and it doesn't hurt you can get food also. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated Edmund as a host and bartender taking care of me and making me feel welcome. Super cool indoor and outdoor areas as well.
