Jiuzhaigou Valley, eulogized as a world of magical fairytale, has for years enchanted tourists with its mountains and luxuriant forests, colorful lakes, gushing waterfalls and abundant wildlife. To its south is the Huanglong (Yellow Dragon Scenic Area). Jiuzhaigou Valley is located in Nanping County, 450 kilometers (about 280 miles) to the north of Chengdu City, Sichuan, covers a total area of 720 square kilometers and the valley is 50 kilometers in length. In 1992, UNESCO entered this scenic area onto the world natural heritage list.Jiuzhaigou, literally the Nine Village Valley, is hence known for the nine Tibetan villages within its boundary, Inhabited by Tibetans, the nine villages and alpine lakes, are like reflecting mirrors or crystal jade blocks inlaid in snow mountains and forests.
There is a saying in China that after visited JiuZhaiGou, you would not want to visit places with waterfalls and lakes. This natural reserve is indeed a paradise for people who enjoy seeing waterfalls and lakes. As for photography enthusiasts, this is the place that you should not miss.

Every year, thousands make a pilgrimage to Kailash for the faith they believed that circumambulating Kailash by foot will bring good luck and clear the sins. The trek begins and ends at Darchen which is at 4,575m elevation.Mount Kailash trekking is one of the most challenging and sacred treks in the world. The trek is widely known as Mt. Kailash kora which is scared in four religions, Bon Religion, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. What’s more, this holy mountain is also the headstream of four famous rivers in Asia: Indus River (also called Shiquan River in China), Sutlej River (a major tributary of the Indus River), Yarlungzangpo River (also called Brahmaputra River) and Ganges River. Every year, thousands make a pilgrimage to Kailash for the faith they believed that circumambulating this holy mountain by foot will bring good luck.
Visited Mt. Kailash in July 2019 through Monterosa Treks. It was a wonderful trip. We were well taken care of by the staff. All of them were extremely helpful. Just to mention a few names Ranjan, Prakash. Food was very delicious, hot and always served with broad smiles in spite of the hard work that went behind getting the food ready in time for the guests. Big thank you to all team members of Monterosa Treks.

Jinshanling Great Wall is located in Luanping County, Chengde, Hebei Province, 80 miles (130 kilometers) northeast of Beijing. It used to be a sound defensive system including barrier walls, battlement walls, watchtowers, gun emplacements, shooting holes, horse blocking walls, and branch cities. Today, it is renowned as the "Paradise of Photographers" and a popular tourist destination because of its magnificent appearance and intoxicating scenery.
We did a day trip to Jinshanling from Beijing as part of a 3 week trip to China. That day was the absolute highlight of the holiday. The scenery was breathtaking, the autumn colours stunning and there were so few people around. We were also very fortunate with the weather on the day we were there, 23 October, we were in T-shirts, the sun was out, the sky clear blue, we could see for miles - the perfect setting to see the Great Wall in its full glory. The journey from Beijing took about 2 hours in a private minibus. We hiked from the West Gate to the East Gate, which took just under 4 hours although that did include frequent photo stops, pauses to admire the view and also, at times, a chance to get our breath back after a clamber up a particularly steep bit or to brace ourselves for the next climb! Those challenging sections went towards making it such an amazing experience. I would not recommend the walk unless you are fit. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring plenty of water although you can buy water and souvenirs along the route.

We are a traditional tai chi school, based in the beautiful area of Yangshuo. Our school is in a genuine Qing dynasty house in a small farming village at the entrance to the famous Yu-long scenic area. We offer training to all levels of students from those wishing to take there first steps into learning Tai Chi with no previous knowledge. And those looking for a chance to refine and study under true Tai chi masters in China, in a traditional old school enviroment.
I was here to study Taichi In past week, and I met some great people here, they are friendly and simply. I had wonderful experiences of Taichi with Master Kim, whom over 30 years experience in both Taichi and Qi Gong, obtaining a level 6 Taichi master...and food here also very fresh and healthy, i really love it. Thank Master Kim and his family for their hospitality, I will come back soon!????

Dragons Back is a must do hike in Hong Kong. The view is breathtaking. To get here, you take the Chai Wan Line To the starting point: From MTR Shau Kei Wan Station Exit A, walk to the Shau Kei Wan Bus Terminus to take bus number 9 and get off on the Dragons Back stop on Shek O Road. Before you start the hike there are a couple of toilets and you wont find any along the way until the end. It takes a couple of hours and you have shorter hike options too

The Great Wall of China is considered to be the only man-made project visible from the moon. Although it was once thought to have been built entirely during the Qin Dynasty between 221 and 238 BC, it is now believed to have been started earlier.Stretching more than 6,400 kilometers in length.
The Great Wall is one of the seven wonders, so you have to visit it if you’re in Beijing. We booked a tour to get there because it’s outside the city. We went in winter so it was very cold. In spite of this, we really enjoyed the view. We were amazed by the construction.

A scenic mountain area houses important Buddhist temples.
A must see place if you are in this part of the world. One of the important Buddhist Mountains in China. If, unlike me you love walking uphill you can climb this on foot but it will take about 4 days. I settled for a full day trip. Wrap up warm in winter as the top will be a lot colder than the bottom. You can buy a combined ticket for 160¥ which will take you from Emeishan railway station up the mountain. The journey is not for those, weak of stomach as the road snakes up the mountain, contains a lot of chicanes, and the drivers don't hang around. There is a pee stop half way and the bus may stop to add snow chains to the wheels in winter. Once at the top bus station you have to walk for about 2km through the monkey reserve to get the cable car which will whizz you right to the summit. At the summit you may be rewarded with a spectacular view as well as a variety of temples, shops and restaurants to explore. You can stay in a hotel at the top so that you can see the sunrise, but its not cheap. Please note the last cable car is at 5.30 and the last bus home is at 6pm. Great day trip

Famous for its breathtaking cliffs and 12-kilometer-long winding path to its peak, this mountain features five peaks that resemble five petals of a flower.
Did a day trip to huashan from Xi An. We took the 810am train from xian north, then the green free shuttle bus from the train station to the mountain welcome centre where you buy cable car tickets. We bought tickets to the North Peak cable car and mandatory shuttle bus tickets to the cable car base. We reached the cable car station on top of the mountain at 1015am and started the trek! We went to all the peaks and even did the walk down to the chess pavilion (2-3h). Reached the East cable car station at 530pm, but we didn't realise the the queue was super long, and the cable car trip down takes 20 minutes! And from the East cable car station,it's another 40 minutes bus ride back to the welcome centre (reached at 745). Had to sprint to catch a cab and get to the train station as our train back to xian was 810pm. Would honestly say it is quite tiring but very doable! Lots of people of all shapes n sizes doing it too. The views are just amazing and you'll never get tired of it. There's lots of toilets on the mountain (but smelly) and also lots of food throughout although it gets pricier the higher into the mountain we go. We didn't need a jacket cos and i wore a tank top And shorts,it was a really nice n sunny day. lots of sunblocks, a cap and towel recommended!

Carved out of a hill, the largest Buddha in the world dates back to the 8th century.
A few people discouraged me from visiting as it was quite far from Chengdu. Good thing I did not listen to them! Plan the visit as a full day outing to Leshan - boat ride, lunch and visit the amazing Oriental Buddha Capital which is adjoining to the Leshan Buddha and you can walk to the entrance where you walk down to be near the Leshan Buddha. The boat ride is well organized- you have to put on life vests which are provided. There are some photographers in the boat who will take photo for you for RMB20 and you collect them (laminated) near the booth where you bought your boat tickets. I think they do a good job of it and is worth RMB20.
