Naveen Bops was a great host who picked us up from town and drove us up to his homestay. The panoramic view of this place is breathtaking and the treks here are awesome. Highly recommended.

This is one of the highest peak of Karnataka, trekking to this peak during monsoon is excellent with little bit drizzle and mist on the peak, gives wonderful feel of nature. At the peak there is small Shiva temple. Overall, I had great time with my friends at the peak.

Pristine glory, thanks to the restrictions associated with a tiger reserve. Clean and green surroundings, no garbage. The ride on the jeep (only few recognised jeeps allowed) was quite an experience as the road is not surfaced. (purposely I think to avoid too many visitors) Not for weak at heart, mind or body. I am still nursing a bad neck as I rode in the rear of the jeep. This is one place which has remained unchanged even after 45 years. Highly recommend spending at least an hour (if the jeep driver obliges) sitting under the water. It was heavenly!

Kudremukh National Park is popular for its scenic beauty. Designated the status of a national park in the year 1987, the 600-kilometre square area is one of the most well preserved national parks in the state.
Just see Kagadada Doniyalli song to scenic view of this place. Its so beautiful and everyone will love the view. Try to vist on weekday that too in early morning or sunset time

Had an amazing experience trekking to this place. PTU organized it very well...Every one was taken care so well until we reached back home....We were accommodated at Bella home stay. Food was very tasty. Home stay is very clean. They provided us all the basic amenities (hot water, good food). One other thing is that Airtel network never worked, so carry Jio(it worked) or BSNL(not sure if it works) And about trek: One of the best places to be there for nature lovers. Amazing view of mountains and the greenery all around, makes you feel relaxed though it needs a lot of energy to reach the peak. No plastic, No paper anywhere around. Very well maintained by the forest department. One gets thoroughly checked and warned by the forest officers before starting to trek, about not using plastic. Of course! it has to be done. Else we would not see such a beautiful trail during the trek. Things not to do: Do not wear sunglasses. You wouldn't enjoy the true colors of the mountains. Don't use earphones. You will miss the sounds of the gushing water stream and the bird's chirp.

You need to go near Kuteera homestay inorder to see the scenic beauty. If you are willing to go there by walk you need to walk some 3.5-4km on a dusty road for about 35 min or you can book a Jeep ride of cost 600Rs for 6 members.Instead you can go with bikes.Condition of dusty road is completely bad.Your energy get's completely exhaust if you go by walk.

It was such a beautiful experience to do ‘mountain hopping’ after a long era of being in a ‘city-arrest’ phase during the lockdown! Had been there in the evening and I believe its the best time to visit and see the beautiful sunset amidst the clouds! We parked our car at the entry and trekked to one of the peaks from where one could hop in to adjoining cliffs comfortably(you could also take your car uphill)! A lovely place to be at, it is around an hour’s drive from Chikmagalur town.

Wonderful Tiger sanctuary that has fewer footfalls. Apparently, the reserve does not do artificial props like fill water in manmade pits, salt licks and the like to attract sighting. The reserve staff have standing order to shoot to kill any poachers. One can find many many types of birds, animals, and trees in the reserve. We saw a Tiger, Elephants, Gaur, Wild Boar, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Spotted Deer, Mongoose, Langur, Machack monkeys, Serpent Eagle, Sea Eagle, Whistling Thrush, Drango, Hornbills, River Tern, three kinds of Cormorants, Snake bird, three kinds of Dangos, mynah, peacocks & peahens, jungle fowl, and many more. Most definitely worth the visit. For best sighting never wear perfume, red/black/white/blue/or bright colours. Always wear earthy colours like brown and green. Don't make noises. Talk in very hushed tones -- if you really need to talk. If you are patient and very quiet, you will most definitely see many creatures. Also, remember that seeing all sorts of creatures is fun not just the big cats. Remember that this is not a zoo so sighting is not guaranteed. Please do not litre the forest, make noise, or listen to music inside the forest. Keep your cell phone on silent so you don't disturb the forest dwellers. Contain your enthusiasm when you see a forest dweller.
