There were six of us travelling together, and our day with Tuk Tuk tours was one of the most memorable. Driving around on backroads, seeing villages we never would have experienced was insightful. We loved the elephants, the lunch was delish and the tour down the river was something we still giggle about. We saw so many local sight and shared some laughs with people of the region. I would highly recommend this tour!

The best elephant experience. Make sure to go there. One of the most ethical experience in Chiang Mai. The elephants look happy and in their natural environment. No riding, no feeding, no touching, the best way to share a day with these fascinating animals. Goy our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and with a great sense of humor.

We chose Chang Chill to have a different experience with elephants. In other years we had visited twice a big elephant park where you interact with the elephant (walking, feeding and bathing these beautiful animals). Chang Chill is different as you do NOT interact with the elephants, but you observe them (from close distance). And it was really a great experience. The elephants just do what they want to do. Are not forced to take a bath or anything like that. They look relaxed and not stressed. Our guide, Goy, was super friendly and funny. This park opened recently and deserves to get a lot of visitors. They really put the elephant number one and this is how it should be! Loved it.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Dan puts the elephants first before anything else. The elephants are well-treated and are never chained, even at night. Dan built a special shelter for them to sleep under. You will get an up close experience that is extremely personal because Dan does not take large groups. He hires a local guide who answered all our questions and spoke English well. After hearing about other tourists' experiences with elephants, I am so thankful we went to El Norte de Tailandia! Keep up the good work, Dan!
