Researched online and found this shooting club in Chiang Mai. What attracted me was the range of weapons available and the packaged deal. However, website booking was more catered to chinese tourist and required quite a number of information. I emailed them instead and received quite a prompt response. They wanted to provide transport to my hotel for pick-up but I had chosen to travel there myself. Rode a motorbike to their premise and it was not difficult to locate. Just follow the google map will do. Upon reaching, there were sufficient parking space and I was directed to the shop. At the shop, you can choose the package you want and the weapons. The staff will assign you an instructor who will prepare the weapons. I think the instructor thought that I might have some experience, so once he loaded the gun, he just handed the gun to me without much explanation. However, he is probably more than willing to explain further on how to use the weapon. The instructor volunteered to take photos and videos for you while you are shooting it. At the end of it, he also volunteered to take photos for you with each weapon. This is my first time handling those guns and I must say it is still an eye opener and experience. It was nice, but you probably got to watch out for your own safety if coming in groups. Do not play around the weapons. Shot 3 different rifles and the whole process from arriving to leaving took me less than an hour.
Awesome range. More importantly the instructor (who is a PRC and can speak mandarin very well) takes his time to really coach and guide you through the proper technique worth the slight premium over the other ranges. And have steel targets, not only pepper tragets, so it adds to the fun to hear the “ping” from the rounds hitting and dropping the targets.
