time of our lives!!! To say this was amazing is the understatement of a lifetime. We stayed with the Karen tribe and their family overnight. We were traveling with 3 girls ages 10, 11 and 13. What a great experience for our whole family. To live with the Karen tribe overnight is something my family won’t soon forget. Sunday and his family made us feel so welcomed from the start. Accommodations are really nice. The food is beyond amazing. Perfection from start to finish. The love they have for the elephants is undeniable. We can’t wait to return. WE WERE HERE 10/2018 I POSTED OUR ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH THE WRONG COMPANY BUT WANTED TO MAKE SURE I GOT IT ON THE RIGHT COMPANY BECAUSE IT WAS TRUELY THAT AMAZING.

At 6PM, our tour guide and the motorbike driver pick you up at your accommodation. Our first food stop is a delicious Northern Thai platter. Then we visit the ancient temple complex and explore its mystifying tunnel passageways. Next, we go to the famous street food neighborhood of Chiang Mai, and try Crispy pork rice with succulent gravy. As the night is still young, we stroll a local fruit and vegetable market. Here you will see exotic tropical fruits and learn what herbs and spices go into Thai kitchen. Our last food stop is Moo Kata or Thai BBQ Hot Pot, after which we head to a local craft beer bar. We leave the bar around 10.30PM to drop you off at your accommodation.

I'm writing this a little late, but I was looking back at photos of my trip (actually in December 2018) and realized I had missed a review on this tour. This should tell you how good it was! This food tour was amazing! There was great explanation about the food preparation as well as the history of the city - and most importantly it was all delicious. Mod was a fantastic guide and I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a true local experience!

We did the evening foodie tour and met our tour guide outside of the Warorot Market where she showed us around and arranged for some tasty treats before going to the flower market. Afterwards she drove us to a neighborhood spot for some great dishes - lots of food to try, plus it was nice to see different areas from where we had been staying. After our dinner we went to the beautiful Wat Chedi Luang built in the 13th Century - lovely temple, especially at night. We then drove to another night market and had some more delicious hand-picked street food. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and gave helpful tips on other places to try near our hotel. Overall, great food your and way to see a different part of Chiang Mai!

We had a great time with the Chef’s Lunchtime Tour in Chiang Mai. We went to two different restaurants and tried many great things. But the best part was the trip to the market, where our guide bought so many things it was hard to eat everything. I tried things I would’’t buy on my own and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this tour.

All I ate was street food while I was here, don't bother with restaurants unless your on a date ha ha. Seriously the street food is top end! Low prices bursting with flavours and you can watch them cook it and ask questions about how they do it. The street market at thappae gate is huge, There's loads of food sections in there. Highly recommended ????

Pick up at the hotel by an English instructor and be transferred by van to Nong Hoi local market. Spend about 40 minutes with the group purchasing fresh ingredients (chicken, prawns, herbs & vegetables) for the class as well as learning about tropical vegetation (which is quite interesting!). About 15 minutes away is Baan Hongnual. Then get a brief introduction of Baan Hong Nual's open kitchen in Lanna Thai style. All students are then given aprons and headdresses as cooking uniforms. Get yourself ready for the 1st menu. However, before starting to cook, you will be introduced about all the kitchen utensils as well as the seasonings normally needed in the Thai cuisine. Afterward, you’ll be shown how to prepare all the ingredients and also how to cook. Get step by step instruction from you instructor. After the 1st menu is done, you’ll be given time to check how delicious is your food is. Continue cooking the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dishes

We used I Asia Thailand (we used them last year) and we rented a van with guide Woody and driver. We requested Woody after good comments and feedback. We did a 8 hour day trip and they were punctual, dressed well, excellent English and very informative. We started from Patong and made our way north before stopping for lunch and then east road back to the south to the many view points. The van was clean with great aircon and wifi!!!. We also had our own hand sanitiser and also wipes throughout the day. I would suggest and recommend I Asia Thailand to any family and friends. We would happily use their services again!

I would highly recommend this tour. We had a great day and our guide was really accommodating, helpful and informative. He even offered to take photos for us while we were at the elephants. It meant we could completely relax and enjoy the experience. Once we got to the waterfall our guide gave us as much time as we wanted and was very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend!
