The museums of Lisbon celebrate the rich history and culture of this Portuguese capital city. The Maritime Museum is perfect for kids (and grown-ups!) who adore all things nautical, while the Casa-Museu Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves is a hidden gem of colorful artwork. To fully appreciate the city’s dramatic stone architecture you can take a guided walking tour, or customize your own tour, making sure to visit the Padrao dos Descobrimentos, the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, and the UNESCO World Heritage site the Torre de Belem.

Cosy Wine bar & Tapas with Fado Nights in a homelike atmosphere and tipical neighborhood of Lisbon.. from tuesady til saturday at 8.00pm
The welcome was warm and kind, the food was great and really fairly priced, the Fado singers sang for nearly 3 hours beautifully. Amazing place to experience Lisbon and Portugal! Since COVID the place only houses 19 people so best to arrive around 8pm. Very, very highly recommend this restaurant with such a great owner!

Firstly - how to get here. If coming from Avenida de Libertade, you need to go into Lisboa Rossio station, up the escalators and then up the long set of steps outside (the Calcado do Duque). The long climb is well worth the effort, because this is great little bar with a good selection of craft beers at reasonable prices. The manager is helpful and friendly, they have good music and also serve a small selection of sandwiches and snacks. I went early on a Thursday in February and it was fairly quiet, but when I walked past on the Friday evening, it was packed inside and on the terrace. A good choice!

Silk is a gastronomic gem that takes you on an unforgettable journey. The experience is luxurious but relaxed nonetheless. With a passion for exceptional cuisine and ingredients sourced both domestically and internationally, our kitchen crafts a very special menu.
I have choosed this rooftop restaurant for its very high quality service and great location. The atmosphere is amazing there, friendly staff and you feel relaxed and peacfull especially with a glass of old fashioned cocktail looking at sunset with your spouse close to you. Everything from the first step: reservation, through the sating and ordering the food: cocktails and sushi, until the very last moment: payment-reasonable prices, was proffesional and in the best quality. This place its gonna be in my and now in my wife memory forewer.
