I'm a "local" and I always try to shop locally to support downtown C'town. I've never been disappointed in what Gabriele's has to offer. Many of their items are seasonally appropriate, ie. summer pillows for your porch, Christmas cookie plates, cute snowglobes, kitchen towels, etc. They also have stylish women's clothing, pierced earrings, bracelets, hand lotions. The prices are reasonable - actually inexpensive. And if it is a gift, they wrap it for free or put it in a bag with tissue paper. I love this place!!
