The diverse population of Chennai (Madras) is reflected in its rich cultural scene. You’ll find serious theatre as well as the glitz and glamour of Kollywood. Chennai is also an important center for the Bharatanatyam, a local form of classical dance. Visit in January, for the festival of Pongal, or in April, when Chennai celebrates its new year.

This institution was established to resurrect the traditional dance forms of the country from adulteration by modern techniques, Kalakshetra has been around since 1936. Many subtle nuances existed in the making of this institution — a symbol of uprising against the British, commitment to theosophy and creation of a strong identity for Indian classical dance forms. The suburban institution offers events that are open to public. It also provides dance classes and a platform for research and studies about traditional Indian dances.

It was really nice theatre inside a mall. It was really a nice experience watching a movie ???? in Inox, Radha Krishna Salai. I didn't find anything much difference however there is some difference in the seating and maintanance. Above all its in a great mall. This mall is close to Marina beach. Overall satisfied and the food court is huge in this mall. People who love KFC and McDonald's and stuff. Can enjoy food here.

My visit to the Mayajaal was for FROZEN 2. The theatre gave such a wonderful experience. Seating and sound effects were perfect. Eatables are little but expensive. the ground floor is exclusively for gaming and kids. An awesome day I had with my friends.
