If you ask me to pick only one must visit in Taitung, no doubt it's San Xian Tai. I went on a super windy and rainy day, which made it hard to cross the Arch Bridge. Anyway, I crossed the bridge, but I'm unable to walk around the island due to bad weather. Still, it's worth the visit as the view is spectacular. Basically, Island, Sea, Sand, Beach, Arch bridge, these words summarize the place and make a beautiful picture. I hope to visit again with a different weather.

We did a cycling trip from Hualien to Taitung where we spend the last 1,5 day biking along the east coast. We took the small provincial road from Hualien to Ruisui which was amazing. The hills were a bit tough but the additional scenery and absence of cars made it more then worth it. From Ruisui we hiked through the mountains to end up on the east coast and bike along there to Taitung. For us it was one of the most amazing trips ever and we would definitely recommend this! If we were to do it again we would just take 4 days instead of 3 as that would leave a little more time for sightseeing.

I came here on a last-minute change of plans and wasn't disappointed. The performance with traditional instruments was one of the best I've seen, with really cool music and a funny host (no English, though). Definitely worth a visit!

I just went here earlier this year, and everything about this place is really amazing! The furnitures are made from wood, and there's a very relaxed and elegant atmosphere in the restaurant, which is very different from other seafood restaurants nearby. We ordered some dishes like swordfish sashimi and fish floss, they are all fresh and juicy. I think I will definitely visit it again in the future. 今年三月拜訪了旗遇海味，這間餐廳的一切都非常令人驚艷！首先，它的內部都是使用木製的傢俱，營造出非常放鬆且優雅的氛圍，和漁港周邊許多海產店非常不同。我們點了一些不錯的餐點，像是生魚片和魚脯，都很新鮮又美味，魚鬆也很有嚼勁。是讓人想一來再來的店！非常推薦。
