The crown jewels, Buckingham Palace, Camden Market…in London, history collides with art, fashion, food, and good British ale. A perfect day is different for everyone: culture aficionados shouldn't miss the Tate Modern and the Royal Opera House. If you love fashion, Oxford Street has shopping galore. For foodies, cream tea at Harrod’s or crispy fish from a proper chippy offers classic London flavor. Music and book buffs will love seeing Abbey Road and the Sherlock Holmes Museum (at 221B Baker Street, of course).

The Fashion School in Chelsea loves responsible fashion and creative individuals who want to change a way of thinking. We loathe mass produced fast fashion and the mess it’s making of our world, don't you? We teach sewing, fashion, fabrics and the big wonderful picture. We have over 35 years of experience at the top end of fashion and education, enabling young innovatives to design and sew using fabrics that have a traceable history. Age specific classes and workshops - from tinies to teens to grown ups. Our classes are within our high-end holistic fashion making shop selling beautiful quality fabrics that are either organic, sustainable or from a British mill or supplier. You can buy your fabrics from us, learn about its origin, then design and make something magnificent to wear knowing you are doing a good thing.
My 13 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed the weeklong summer workshop "I want to be a fashion designer" and was extremely proud of the super cool top she made. I was also very impressed.....being a sewer myself, I am quite the critic! Highly recommend for both the skills and social aspect of the course. My daughter wants to do another one. High praise indeed from a teen.

Duke of York Square is always bubbling with activity. The day I visited the food fair was very busy with the variety of people from tots to ancient working their way from stand to stand, tasting, eating and buying.

PAUL is the Ambassador of the French art de vivre. Present in over 33 countries, the brand’s teams share the love of work well done, the joy of offering to our customers each day the very best quality products in a setting that is enchanting and unique. Come and visit us at our King's road branch whether it's for a quick tasty coffee, a meeting around delicious cakes or a take away crispy sandwich. We also have a great variety of large cakes for any special occasion you may have, from 6 portions cakes to 24 portions, different flavours available (chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, apple, coffee). Delivery within the area available upon request.
My husband ordered the cake from Paul on my birthday. Unfortunately, we had a issue with the cake and had to complain. They have nicest staff ever in the shop. The manager (Jam) from Bankside branch called me straight away, with unexpectedly nice manner and care. I have been a big fan of Paul for a long year. Coming from Japan, the country that obsessed with French patisserie, Paul is one of the place that I can pop in to get a bit of taste of home. Mistakes happens to every business and I believe that how they deal with the mistakes is the key to the good customer service. Thanks again for your care!

Partidges is an excellent deli cum specialty food store where one can browse for ages at the top selection of ggodies on offer, from fresh delicacies to imported treats, a great selection of cheeses, things from abroad and the best of local food. There is a lovely tearoom at the back of the shop for cooler weather and a larger area outdoors where one can meet for a coffee, tea & decadent cakes or for a light lunch. A short walk away from Sloan Square u the Kings' Road, this is an easy place to find and well worth a browse and stopping in at the tearoom or outside on a nice day.

Green and Stone has been described as one of the most friendly and enchanting shops to visit in London, where there is always something for those who are beginning to draw or paint and for those seeking advice about what to buy. Green and Stone’s craft department on the lower ground floor carries a wide range of materials for modelling and card making, along with a young children’s section. For the serious artist, Green and Stone’s independent status has meant that it has consistently striven to offer the Finest Materials available including, Artist’s oil colours by Michael Harding, Sennelier, Winsor and Newton and Charvin; watercolours by Schmincke and Daniel Smith and acrylics by Golden, Liquitex and Daler Rowney. To simply browse even without an artistic agenda is almost always fruitful. The incredible variety of goods within the confines of this delightfully woody and old-fashioned store is an inspiration for those without any particular mission.
Thank goodness we have not lost this lovely shop. I had noticed the shop on the King’s Road had closed, but it has just moved. They have lovely art supplies and a small section for children. Their framing service was excellent. This is much loved shop and I do not know of another art suppliers for miles around.

John Sandoe is my favourite bookshop in the whole world! Their selection is outstanding, original and enlightened with high wattage. It may be the closest I have to a worshipping temple. Long life to it! ❤️
