Second time around with friends and family from Canada. The view is breathtaking and all the special small shops are offering you something unique. A lovely pottery, children's theatre,cosy restaurant, medieval church and volière with birds of prey they use for films. Fantastic space!

Guy III of Gouzon, lord of Bourbonnais gave its name to the castle, he married Blanche of Beaumont owner of the fief in the 13th century. Obtained by bishop Fort d'Aux, in 1350, it is used as a watchtower up until the 17th century. It encounters several restoration campaigns.
